Had my stock Kein on my 1991 fxr that ran fine, decided to pick up one of theses just to try it out and see if it was junk or a very good deal at such a low price and to have a extra in case the stock Kein became not rebuilable at some point. Bolted it up right out of the box with the jets that came with it. Hit the start and she fired right up and ran better than the stock Kein guess i just got used to the way it ran which i thought was fine. But throtte is so much crisper during acceleration and idles smoother. What a deal and a steal at the price. Going to order another just in case. The cost is basicaly the same as 2 full meals now days at a fast food joint.

I installed this new carburetor. Along with new fuel lines. I had no problem cranking and starting my motorcycle after I installed the carburetor Not hard to install either.

I ordered this carb for a bike, installed it and the bike would not start, the carb was flooding over and would not idle even after making adjustments to the carb. I would not recommend using this carb on any bike equiped with a CV40 style carb. Complete waste of time and efort.

While I haven’t got the bike started yet (‘01 Harley Dyna) the carburetor seems well made and the price is reasonable. Delivery was a bit of a problem. It never made it to my house but I received confirmation that it had. Not stolen because delivery said left at front door but doorbell camera showed no entries that day. Not sure where it went. However working with Amazon customer service a replacement came to me within a couple of days.

Very pleased. With one slight issue, it went right on and started/runs great.The problem is to bolt air filter on, it was metric threads. No big issue as I had taps and ran one through to make uss threads.If I needed another, I would have no problem ordering another.A P.S. I measured my jet size from my old carb and fitted the proper size from those that came with carb kit.

Was having jetting issues with a barn find sport, after trying 2 keihin carbs (old) just couldn't get the jetting or clean enough.So this carb costs as much as a jet kit, maybe less, comes with various jets.Put it on after checking the carb and making sure it didn't have any residue or shavings in it, it was very clean, nothing inside at all.Put it on, make sure to set the idle circuit screw 1.5 to 2 turns out.Idles perfect, runs great no misses or back fire, no surges.If you have a Evo bike with carb issues, just get this carbIt did need 3 things.The choke cable and the throttle cable housing off the old carb. It would not fit with the after market choke cable, it was maybe 1/2 inch too wide. The cable housing was too tall. Swap them out.And like others have said you will need to either tap out or get new carb screws to hold on the carb bracket.
