41" Swamp Cooler, 4800 CFM
This Swamp Cooler is doing a great job on my back patio right now. It's 88 degrees outside here in Phoenix AZ and theswamp (or evaporative cooler) with the water running is keeping the patio right around 72/73 degrees. A long time ago, I lived in an old house here in Phoenix that only had a swamp cooler, and that unit had four sides, with each side having a wet pad to keep the house cool. So, when selecting an outdoor cooler I wanted be sure all sides pulling in hot air would have a wet pad that would cool all the air coming into the unit. Some of other cooler I looked at only had one pad in the back, with two sides vents that would pull in hot air, which in the end would make the cold air from the wet pad in the back warmer before it reached the motor that pushed the air out me - I'm so glad I found this unit! This unit looks to be well made, is sturdy, and rolls very easy even when filled with water. The motor is so strong that I don't even need to put it on high to cool off my 9x15 patio, the lowest setting works fine for me for now. Plus, the ice blocks have stayed frozen/cold all afternoon in the water, maybe 5 hours now and the water is still very cold.I used my new ECOFLOW solar power station to get an idea of the watts used by this swamp cooler .... Using the unit with the fan on low it pulled around 92w - on high it pulled around 164w. Using the swamp cooler on low with water pump running it pulled around 119w - on high it pulled around 187w.Now, the down side ... I'm having a problem with the hose connection leaking. I used some Plummer's tape to avoid this problem, but the connection site leaked anyway. I tried tightening the connection as much as I dared, as I'm afraid if I over-tighten it will destroy plastic plug connection in the unit's wall. This isn't a deal breaker for me as it is a very small leak and I just put a cup under to catch the dripping water, but it would be nice if I could get it to stop dripping. Maybe the seller will see this comment and help me figure out why the connection has a problem.Update 05/09/25 -- Wanted to add that their customer service is excellent! I needed some help with the swamp cooler and had some questions, and I found this company to be very considerate, understanding, and helpful to my needs. Also, right now it's exactly 100 degrees here in Phoenix AZ without the cooler, after turning on my new cooler the thermostat is now reading 83.5 degrees - AWESOME - and, it is still on the low setting.I'm over the moon with this company, customer service, and of course the swamp cooler.Thank you so much!

Enjoying my Patio in the Heat!
I spend a lot of time working on our front lawn and a lot of effort in lots of flowers and trimmed bushes. Our garage is a great place to sit and take a break or just spend some time looking at the landscaping and talking with friends. I also have a family member that smokes, and when she visits, she goes out to the garage to do so.The UTHFY 41" Swamp Cooler 4800CFM has transformed our patio and the time that we spend there! Hooking up the hose for continuous fill made it really convenient and it was all set up in minutes, with no leakage at all. This does a GREAT job cooling off the entire area, and is easy to move around when necessary. It doesn’t make a lot of noise and has a powerful fan that works hard and well. This is so worth the money spent, to enjoy our summer season outdoors!

VERY VERY Poor Quality
Sadly it seems that mine arrived with a loose part inside... If I use the lowest speed works fine, Medium will make a tolerable (but bothersome) rattling noise and at high speed it rattles so much that you will not be able to have a conversation anywhere near it.I did not connect a hose to fill it up and did it using the front little gate but I did connect the Hose adapter on the side... this metal adapter will vibrate a lot an make a loud noise if you turn the fan on so I remove it... but when the cooling is on at high speed, the part inside the unit where the plastic hose connector is situated rattles a lot making a loud noise like it will just break or disconnect at any moment.Looks good, seems to do what is supposed to do... but clearly this unit could have never passed a QC test. Now I have to ask for a replacement, dry the whole thing... disassemble the wheels, put it in a box and drive that big thing to a return center.I had bud luck with mine.

Makes a big difference
I've been using this evaporative cooler in my garage workshop, and it's made a huge difference during hot days. The airflow is really powerful, and with the wide oscillation, it pushes cool air throughout the whole space quickly and evenly. I especially like how fast it cools down the area between the upgraded cooling pads, the strong motor, and the ice packs, you really feel the temperature drop almost immediately. The large water tank lasts for hours without refilling, and the water level indicator makes it easy to know when it's getting low. I also love that I can either pour water in from the top or hook up a hose for continuous filling, which is super convenient. It's also very mobile thanks to the sturdy wheels, and I can easily roll it from my garage to the patio depending on where I need it. This has been a great solution for keeping large areas cool without the need for permanent AC.

4800 CFM? No Way. I’ve been in the HVAC business for 48 years (oh my goodness I’m old) and this may be putting out around 800 CFM at best. All that being said, I like the portable nature of the product along with the side swing blades. You can fill it and monitor the water level in an instant. It does however, have to be dead level in order for the water to drape down evenly from the upper reservoir. If this is not level it will leave you with a dry side pad and then you will pull in hot unconditioned air. I also like the illuminated switch settings so it’s easy to see what your status is. The push button speed control is nice. It’s kinda cute for an evap cooler and I will be considering an additional one for when I work in job sites due to its lighter weight and portability. I really need to see some “real” test specs on the airflow CFM ratings as described, because I don’t believe that for a minute. All in all, I’m happy with the unit as I wasn’t expecting a “trade built” cooler. Don’t hesitate and buy yourself one, you’ll be happy with it.Drew in Arizona
