For the price I was thinking I at least would have a so,so knife. This knife is a lot more, sharp out of the box . A little heavy but I like the solid feel . smooth opening and closing. The flipper is great , has good detent . I find it kinda hard to use the thumb stud on the belt clip side , the show side is decent. The belt clip isn't reversible and tip down , which I was not used to , but has been no problem, I even seem to like it ...The truth is, I have used it for a while and it's the one that has not failed me , have quite an assortment of different knives I can carry, but always come back to my HOKC knife. I plan to order some other ones from the maker to see if they are all as good as my first one...Hope this helps you decide on it .

I absolutely love this brand. They always come with quality even on the lower end knives. Seems well beyond in $18-$20 knife.

hokc makes great knifes but this one has huge hot spots the hole handle I dremeled the edges and it great also don't buy the black one the steel whatever they do is not as good and doesn't sharpen up half as good as the silver blade iv found this to be ture with more than one of there blade leaves me scratching my head and still it's worth way more than they are asking
