Almost like I've added an AC to the master bathroom
I'm using this clever device to move cool air from my air conditioned master bedroom into the adjoining bathroom, which lacks any ducts from the AC. I have it mounted right over the door, so when the door's closed I can still keep the bathroom relatively cool. It seems to move plenty of air, isn't terribly loud, and I like that it can be set to automatically turn on whenever the temperature rises above a certain level. I will likely be purchasing another unit for a second bathroom with similar temperature issues. Two very minor quibbles:(1) As others have mentioned, the fans only blow in one direction. So for my application, I needed to unscrew the unit and reverse the fans so that the thermostat side of the wall (the side inside the bathroom) is pulling air into the room, not pushing it out. The fan reversal process is not difficult, just a minor setup hassle.(2) As far as I can tell the unit only shows the temperature in Fahrenheit. I'd like it to be in Celsius to match what shows on my AC displays. It would be great if, on a future model, there were switches added to the unit to change the fan direction and temperature unit of measure.

It works, but louder than anticipated.
The fan fits between standard studs perfectly. It does move some air at the cost of sound. Having built several computers and had installed both cheap and quality fan components, these are not quiet. I use this to push air into a basement room with no air flow from an adjacent basement room that does get circulation. It works for it's intended purpose however it's the equivalent of having a white noise machine on ....FOREVER. lol. I don't think the food storage will mind though. I would probably search for something even more quiet if this were to be used in a wall for a bedroom.

Just what I needed
I needed to share the cold air from my bedroom to my kitchen, since my minisplit is 1ton capacity, I thought it would work cooling both ambience without having the door open. It is a real convenient, so I can receive visitors in my living open plan while my bedroom keeps private. Great quality, works properly. Only one month since my purchase. I'll update my review ahead. The noise level is acceptable to me, but not very quiet if you pretend sleep having it ON, I only use it to refresh a second area while awake. It works what is made for, just keep in mind the área you will share with, my kitchen is 10'x 12' and it gets good amount of cold air from my bedroom through this baby.

Weak airflow and noisey
I am not satisfied with the fan. It is very loud even on the lowest setting and the airflow is not good for what I need. I put it between my conditioned bedroom and bathroom to help cool down since there is no a/c vent in the bathroom. I feel little to no difference. Not worth the price and materials feel cheaply made.

Didn't do what I wanted it to
The fan worked, meaning I'm sure it moved air from one room to another, but it didn't fill my needs.I have one room that is always warm, and one room that we keep cool. Think 85 degrees on one side, and 70 degrees on the other. My hope was that I could cool down the warmer room. It barely made a dent. To be honest though, I may have been asking too much of it. The cooler room is about 120 sq ft, the larger room is around 250 sq ft, so double the area. I also kept the fan on the lowest setting because it gets quite noisy the fast the fan is. I did let it run 24 hrs per day for about a week. It may have brought the temperature in the other room down a little less than 2 degrees. I'm sure some HVAC guy will tell you that it was asking too much for the fan to do. But if you're like me, that's exactly what you were trying to do, and you should know if you can or not.So once again, it won't work miracles, at least it didn't for me.

Well Built and All the Features I Needed
This unit is made of metal and very well built. Has the features that I needed. Has been installed for less than a week so we will see how it holds up, but so far it is working as intended. Installed near ceiling in media closet to pull hot air out into the hallway right by the return air duct using the heat trigger mode to activate when set temperature is reached. A little loud on highest fan speed, but still functional at lowest fan speed which is what I am using. Some things I really like:1) The remote, since its installed so high in the media closet.2) Wires up directly to power which makes the install very clean. I was able to fish it and tap it directly into an existing outlet below.3) It connects to the other side via its own "duct" so its not exposed to the inside of the wall.4) The heat trigger mode to automatically turn on/off when set temperature is reached.5) I like that it requires only a 13.8" wide hole opening since I only had around 14.75" stud spacing in this particular location and still had room to route all the cables in this portion of the wall around the duct.If I had a complaint, I wish there was a way to disable the beeping when toggling through the menus as its a bit loud, but this is not a big deal since I can set it to heat trigger mode and forget it as it will turn itself on/off as needed.

A good fan that works well.
This is a well designed through wall fan. It is easy to install and made from quality materials. It is a little loud on high speed, but not too bad on 1 or 2 speed. I did have problems with one of the fans not working, I contacted customer service via email and they sent out a replacement. As a note to other reviewers who complain that one fan turns backwards... This company makes 2 different fans. One is for ventilating a sealed off room that has no other exit for incoming air, hence air in and air out. The other is for a room like mine with plenty of ventilation and you just want to blow hot/cold air in or out. It is a good fan and it does what it is designed to do well.
