Cut Cleanly, Dimensions Exceed Claimed, Excellent Thickness Uniformity, Slightly Warped (See Notes)
These are supplied in a plastic zip-lock bag.Unusually for HDPE sheet (being a technical plastic), these are provided with an adhesive film protector on one of the faces. There are no obvious surface defects on either sheet, and the edges are cut consistently cleanly. Both sheets measure a consistent 13mm at all edges, with no more than 0.05 deviation between measurements; which is more or less the limit of accuracy of my callipers. That's unusually good in my experience. The outer dimensions are all over 300mm; but not exactly so. Some are ~1-2mm larger, so you can apply a finishing pass and still have 300x300mm if needed. As another reviewer noted, my sheets also arrived with visible warping.Unless sold as "stress-relieved" HDPE (or supplied clamped between something else), this isn't necessarily unexpected. In thinner and larger sheets like this, HDPE is quite susceptible to warping from relatively minor temperature changes.I did manage to flatten the sheet temporarily with a heat gun upon a flat glass surface; but I'd need more time, heat and an upper clamping medium to affect a proper flattening. It can be done, but if you're looking for perfectly flat technical plastic sheeting, I've had better results with solid PVC sheet in similar thicknesses.I'm not going to test machinability of this until I have a specific use for the material; but it should be absolutely fine with drilling and cutting.Pricing appears to be equivalent to my current supplier; perhaps a little cheaper once delivery is taken into account.

Banana time
My review is based around the current selling price of £23.99Summary:I always include the current price as reference point as value for money. So please bear this in mind when you look at the stars I have given vs current price point. The current price isn’t bad at all but the item itself suffers from flaws. Firstly, 2 of the corners are not correctly finished and as there is no other damage it doesn’t look to be caused by delivery. Secondly, with the 2 centres pushed together you can see these are not flat. They are both bending like bananas. I know you can apply a bit of heat with the item on a flat surface to resolve this but you shouldn’t have to. It means I can’t use it out of the plastic packet it arrived in, straight away.Pros:Can be heated and mouldedEasy to cut (do get bits everywhere though)Protective film is appliedGood wear and tearIdeal for making things (but might be too thick for laser cutter)Good pricingCons:Defects on cornersNot flat
