Best $28 I have spent in a long time.
A crock pot dropped on the edge of our granite counter top and chipped it. We were beside ourslelves that this happened. I purchased this repair kit and it literally worked like magic. It is LED light cured "epoxy" so you dont have to worry about it drying while your working with it. And when you use the included LED light when you are ready to cure it, it only takes a couple of minutes. Super easy and quick. I hope to never need this again but would not even consider another option if I do.

Works!
I had several little dents/chips in my granite due to using peroxide for my Invisalign trays. Did some research and found this stuff. It works great! Easy to use, instructions are easy to follow. I only wish the thin barrier strip that you place down before the light would have been larger. I didn't need it larger to do 1 fix, because the idea is this stuff is only for SMALL fixes. But it would have been nice to fill several dents and set the film down then move the light to cure the acrylic.Once cured, yes I can see where the dents were if I knew where to look. My husband, who didn't know where they were could only see it after I pointed them out.Do pay attention to getting the acrylic level/flat. If not you'll have a lot more sanding to do!

Easy to fix small to medium chips in quartz counter
Follow the directions and it works great. This is the second of their kits I've bought. Glad they upgraded the blue light. Had to use one of my blue lights with the first kit two years ago.If you follow the directions it blends very well.

Inconsistent results - stopped curing halfway through the tube
I purchased this product since the item I used previously was out of stock. I had high hopes for this product in repairing pits in my granite countertops. The product started out great with a smooth finish and quick curing. However, almost halfway through the tube, the product was taking longer to cure. Changed the curing light battery numerous times, soon the product would not cure at all. Even curing 10-12 minutes with a fresh battery the product was still in its original gel-like consistency - it would not solidify no matter how long it was under the light. The pits being repaired were prepared according to the directions and considerably smaller than maximum recommended repair size. This product was more expensive and a smaller size than the other product I purchased in the past. Not a good value and it appears that the product is not consistent through the tube since I could only use a little more than half the product.

Save yourself a fortune in repair costs
I purchased this to repair a hairline crack in our fireplace hearth. It worked well and solved the problem. The epoxy took a little longer to harden versus the instructions but otherwise no problem. Save yourself a fortune and buy one of the kits and fix it yourself!

If I can do it, anyone can!
Absolutely incredible! I am not a handy person, and I was scared that I would make the damage worse. But I decided to risk it based on the other reviews, and I am so glad I did. As inexperienced as I am, I was able to do this perfectly in under 30 minutes. (A handy person could probably do it faster.)The chip in this granite counter top was on the curve/edge, so I wasn't sure if this would work. First I tried to place three strips along the curve, but that didn't work, so I tried using only one strip and curving it to fit tightly on the edge. After just a few seconds, I pulled my fingers away, and the strip stayed perfectly in place! Then I held the light for 2 minutes on one side of the curve, 2 minutes on the center, and 2 minutes on the other side of the curve. I tested it, and it was cured! Then I cut a tiny piece of the sandpaper and moved it in gentle circles until I couldn't feel anything when I rubbed my finger over the repair. Then I used the wet paper, and the polish steps. I asked my family to come and check the spot, and no one could find it!This was so easy to use, and the transparent color matched perfectly with the pattern on my granite. The first two photos show the chip. Its very hard to see in the photo because the chip happened to be where a dark part of the granite pattern was. So the second photo shows the applicator that comes with this kit. You can see the depth of the chip. The second two photos showed how I curved the strip that comes in the kit over the chip. The last two photos show the repair. My index finger is placed directly next to the repair. In the last photo, I've moved my hand away, and its impossible to see where the repair was. Amazing!

The epoxy worked great.
Only issue: was the UV light was not working and intermittent. I had to twist the body and applied forces to make the light go on. I verified the polarity and battery life and all was good. Seems to be a bad connection inside the UV light. But I had another UV light that I used which was fine. Comments: epoxy 1 part works great. I like the needle which was supplied to control the dispense. I use good quality packaging tape per instructions for boarders. Use UV light to cure. Scrapped off the excess with razor first that use sandpaper. Polish it than ceramic coat it and it’s smooth now.
