This was PERFECT for our birthday prank! Just when our target thought they had found the prank, another one would go off. The surprise never ended!Each device came with its own set of batteries (packed separately so they’re fresh), directions and even a mini screwdriver, which made it super convenient—no digging through drawers to find tools. Setup was fast and easy.At just over $3 each, they’re an amazing value for money—especially considering the laughs we got out of them.

All three make a quick chirp when turned on then nothing more. The instructions say "they will chirp between 5 and 55 minutes". Waited over an hour and got nothing. I will check the battery voltage at work. Hopefully just old, bad batteries. Maybe I am expecting too much for Chinese stuff three for under ten bucks?Update. 3 volt batteries tested to over 3.2 volts each so not the batteries.

Great way to have some fun with family or co-workers. Turn on, hide it, and then pretend you don’t know anything. Hours of fun if you hide them right.

For the money I thought why not, it can’t be that bad. Well it doesn’t even make the sounds I needed. Yes crickets are cute, funny whatever but it’s not the sounds I needed so -1 star for that.Then 1 of the 3 devices came DOA so off the bat another -1 star.

These work fine and have alot of different noises. Id have given it a 5 star but the one a friend had that made me want to buy these had a more realistic cricket sound. These sound a little electronic. They are still good and have a great price.

These things are just fantastic and super easy to hide! Started a psychological war at work. My boss has taken his whole office apart looking for it! (I come in early to move it once or twice a week, it’s currently in his computer monitor)If he was actually mad I’d take it out, he’s just mad he can’t find it.My wife on the other hand, well she made me take that one out from the AC air duct in the living room…. It’s now inside her dashboard making a different noise. Needless to say, this had been fun.
