Well Made Professional Looking Magazine Rack
This is for the Vaultek Modular Magazine Rack (Universal version). I have included several pictures with this review. This rack is nice way to store magazines that you might need in a pinch. Or it could be used in a valet manner when getting ready to leave the house (That’s how I’m using it). Some initial thoughts at unboxing: The rack arrives in a cardboard looking box with the rack in a sealed bag inside. The housing of the rack is plastic but professional looking. Inside of the housing is a non reactive foam. According to Vaultek, this means that it blocks out moisture and will not react to lubricants. I do believe this as the foam doesn’t have the cheap porous look and feel that you get with most foam boxes. In addition, the foam doesn’t appear to slide out of the housing (Possibly glued in or very snug). The slots have holes that I assume are to allow for the drainage of lubricants? The universal version comes with several 3M pads that allow the user to secure the rack to a flat surface.Functionality: This is what matters. This rack truly is universal. As seen in the pictures, I was able to fit Glock 17, Glock 43, 1911, And LCP magazines in the rack. The only magazine that isn’t snug in the rack is the lcp ones (Though I found that I could store them sideways or two at a time and they are snug). The rest of the magazines are snug enough that they do not fall out when turned upside down (As seen in photos).I’d say this rack has earned 5 stars. The only con I really have to comment on is that the price is a little high. With that said, Vaultek has produced a nice product that looks professional and I believe will last for years.

Dont bother with the stickies go for the screws! and enjoy the mags being organized :-)
I like it! Its holds double stack (like H&K VP9 Mags and single stack Like my 1911 .45) The 3M two sided foam stickies are super hard to peel and half time you peel the glue on the paper leaving a non sticky foam. But it has 4 scree holes which i advise you to use if your mounting it verticle or on top of a safe or cabinet. yes you can mount it upside down! and the mags stay in tightly. Helps keep the mags orginized and not just laid about the safe.

Great concept, but hard to access
If you put this into the Vaultek MXi, it will be difficult to get to the magazines in the rear. Needs to have a slide out tray to access the mags in the back or to pull the entire shelf out. If it's just to store mags, the placement of them isn't the most space saving as it could potentially accommodate more mags if facing to the sides. Concept is good but not practical for $40.

Pleasantly surprised
This thing is a lot sturdier / solid that I originally thought.

Good mag holder
Well constructed mag holder. the 8 slots cover my glock, HK, and 1911 mags. They fit snug. The only issue is a small one. The bottom has 4 posts with rough edges, so they tear up my rubber matting in my safe as I pull out the holder each time. Would be nice to have something that can cover it. I put a few small felt pads on it, and it solved the problem.
