Nice collection of the classic humor books

I never read this series but my grandson’s eyes lit up when he opened this gift.

A+ for the exterior, and the leather, printing, and silver edge-painting all seem great as well.As it's a non-standard size and fairly heavy, with small print on the type of extra-thin pages that make me think of a bible, it's not something I can imagine actually reading from, but a great collectible for nerds.

Bought this book for one of my nieces, she'd never read it and it's something her father and I quote frequently. It's amazing to see new readers enjoy such a masterpiece of sci-fi humor.

I have read this several times and each time I see things I missed.I bought this out of print edition and it was rather expensive but I'm not disappointed. It is in new condition and is almost like a Bible. It's bound in a deep blue leatherette, has pages gilded in silver and has a blue ribbon bookmark.I think I'll keep it wrapped in a towel.

My boyfriend loves hitchhikers guide. He's read the book many times over, so i bought it for him, so he could shut up about it lol. He loved it and got emotional as he tore the wrapping, because he already knew what it was. 5 stars!

This is one of the all-time classics in my opinion. It's written with a very British sense of humor, which means that you either get it or you don't (kind of like Monty Python). There doesn't seem to be many folks that fall in between love and hate on this stuff. I appreciate this kind of humor, and this series of books was full of belly laughs for me. I've read it a couple times and now I give it as a gift to others that share my twisted sense of humor.

Amazing and beautiful book. Great format and with a lot of personality. I usually only buy pocket editions, but this saga has had me loving it from day one and I just couldn't stop reading it, so it deserved of me to buy a hardcover version!
