A friend gave me a dispenser that didn't work. I had to to quickly replace my dispenser and bought this one for a good price. I know it's usually used it for making drinks at a party but was advised this was an easier way to use liquid detergent. I wash a lot so I wanted something easy to use. We buy liquid detergent in bulks so having this has helped tremendously. I watched the Amazon video to put the parts on the glass. I had to go back because the extra "wash" part goes inside and outside of the glass to tighten the nozzle. I guess I missed that part on the video. After pouring in the liquid slowly but half way. I was hoping there was no leakage through the nozzle to seep through. I added a little less than a third of water to the detergent. The water helps the nozzle not to get clogged with soap. No need to mix or shake to mix the water it will blend on it's on. I love it! To have something nice, functional and durable has made me very happy.

Dont know,just received. .Bought the same product in one gal version earlier. Little spendy but good quality...so that's all that counts.

This has lasted well and is so much better than plastic water dispensers.

I think a rubber grommet should be used and already put in place. The idea for two gaskets smashed together is a recipe for disaster. It makes this process for disinfecting the unit a bit of a pain. The glass seems a bit thin and the mason jar top is extremely flimsy. I recommend holding the glass vice the lid, it doesnt seem too secure.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’m very pleased with the product. Not too big for counter or to handle full. Yet it holds enough water for several days use.

I assembled it without problem, but the valve doesn’t move. It is locked. I turn on the right, left, up and down and if I move too much or too harsh it seems like it might break. You should have something in the instructions saying how to unlock that valve. There’s absolutely nothing on the instructions or even a video explaining. I didn’t want to return it because I felt so happy for being able to assemble the tap so easily. But Now I feel terrible because I can’t get the valve to move and flow water. All for nothing.
