GREAT device for the money.
I've only had this device since 4/4, but as a regular user of MP3 players, I was able to go through most of the features to be able to provide a reasonable review. The Good/Great: For the money, this is actually a terrific little player. I was going to initially get the AGPTEK A02, but stepped up to this model and am pleased with my choice for like 5-7 more dollars. I've used a P3000 by Bassplay for about 8 years now, which still works well by the way, but I wanted the options of an FM radio and Bluetooth for my earbuds. Another nice side option is the voice recorder, which i have not tried yet. You can also record from FM Radio, again, a nice little feature I may or may not use. Sound quality is terrific and you will definitely notice the sound difference between your FLAC and lower quality MP3 recordings. There's also a pedometer, a stopwatch, a calendar, a clock and the ability to look at photos (The last of which I won't use, but still it's a nice option if you want). I loaded my music into the device by folders, and the device sorts by artists, folders, albums, genres and saved playlists. When you use the Shuffle feature, it shuffles through ALL songs, which my P3000 could not do (it would only shuffle songs in the root directory - anything in Folders was ignored when I'd try to shuffle all songs). There's a Micro SD slot and I can "Expand up to 128GB using a TF card (not included) for a total capacity of 196GB." Product description says the battery lasts 48 hours of continuous playing, but the device is still too new for me to make an educated determination regarding battery life. At 100g, this device is slightly heavier than the P3000, but it's still a light device, compared to some of the chunkier devices out there. Weight's not an issue for me, either way, as I use this device in my car, directly into my AUX. The build is solid and the glass front with touch buttons is nicer than I expected. The Not So Great: The included instructions are pretty basic and don't include everything. The menu is right there on the home screen, but it takes some getting used to and does not include all features and functions. You actually have to be "in" the music to see "Random, Repeat, etc" functions. This is the same with the equalizer settings. The first thing I did after loading up all my music was to connect my BT earbud and I had to crank up the volume all the way to hear the music at a normal level (not sure if this is due to my year-old earbuds or the device itself). I have not tried the included wired earbuds yet, but I do know they are required as the antenna for the FM radio. Supposedly you can save FM presets, but again, the instructions are bare minimum, and I can't figure out how to save the presets yet. Otherwise, it scans for all stations every time you try to use the radio.Summation: I love this device and I love that I spent under $40 for it. I'm getting a whole ton of bang for my buck. Only thing I wish they had included would be a little neoprene (or similar) sleeve to hold it in.

Great for the price! Would definitely recommend!
To anyone looking for a great music player that has good battery life, is durable, has a lot of storage, and has a great user interface and is easy to navigate...Then this is for you! I got this to listen to music with, and it is great! No sound quality is lost when transferred from your device to the music player, is not too light, but not too heavy, and doesn't overheat. The battery life lasts DAYS, more than a phone, which is surprising considering the size. Overall, I would DEFINITELEY recommend. Good luck out there, fellow shoppers!

It's my favorite mp3 player. Love the screen and sound. Had one problem with my second purchase.
I really like this mp3 player. I purchased two of them. Beautiful screen and sound. The second one had a slightly different mode of operation, where I had to press the play button to start it playing, whereas the first one started playing automatically. The second player also froze and stopped playing frequently and I had to reset it. Finally I tried removing the microSD card and loading the player with my songs to it's internal storage and the player has stopped freezing. Both players work now.

Don’t buy this!
At first glance this looked like it would be a great MP3 player for my 13 year old nephew, for Christmas. After he opened it we connected it to my laptop and downloaded an album. Everything seemed fine. Later it locked on him and when I tried to search for answers I found others had this issue too. Once we finally got that to stop (not even sure how or why it stopped) we then connected it back up to my computer exactly two days later and it won’t connect. Nothing has changed with my laptop and I connected it the exact same way as before. After hours of trying to troubleshoot and find help, nothing worked. In the questions listed on this Amazon page I searched for the problem and several other had the same issue with no solution to be found. The number lister for the seller rings on and on with no answer or option to leave a vm. And the website says unable to load. This was the one gift he asked for and I have a bummed kid waiting for a new MP3 player to arrive in the mail. Do not let the large amount of reviews fool you. This is a cheap product that couldn't even work for 3 full days! Waste of my time, money and frustrations!!

Just what I wanted
I have already lived a long life and own a tall shelf with music CDs. When Amazon stopped allowing me to also play some of my own CDs on my Kindle Fire I thought it was time to look into an mp3 player. The sound is best with ear phones or Bluetooth. Actually have not yet tried their ear phones since I had a nice pair.I have been impressed by how fast it uploads the music when you Sync it. While some of my CDs were converted into mp3, some must still have been as Wav files, but no matter it downloads them very fast. Transferring them from an external harddrive was no sweat at all. Windows Media Player was great one day and the next gave me problems. Eventually I found where my music files were stored (i.e. both Amazon and my own) on the computer and was able to download more. The Player also told me quickly when I had already downloaded something, so yes I am very impressed. Have not even tried the other features. Photos to me is a "no" since they show off much better on my Kindle. Same would probably be for the e-reader. Might try the pedometer one time and maybe some radio stations, but the main reason was to be able to listen to music. It connected both to my little bluetooth speaker and the large Vizio bluetooth speaker, no problems there either. I did quite a bit a research before making my decision but am now very happy. Already have 10 GB loaded of music.Yesterday I wanted to add some of my Amazon music files to the mp3 player and at some point I discovered that by right clicking on a track I could send it to Windows Media Player and once in Windows Media Player I could create a list, attach the mp3 player and the Sync button would light up and did the job. Amazon player no longer shows the tracks, just plays the music.
