Q: do i need to add perlite to this to grow tomato in a container?

I dont know what that is, but I gave this to the small and large plants (in pots) and they love it

Pretty mush the same also IThis product was way overpriced. I went to lowes and purchased 3 64quarts bags of peat for 35.00. That was $16.00 less and 80lbs more product

Q: I need a good rich soil for growing ginger in a pot in the house. Would this fit the bill?

I mixed it with garden soil 50/50 for an outside tire pot that has sweet potatoes and ginger growing in it. I think it would be just fine alone for indoor growing of ginger. I will be digging up my ginger and using it alone myself to over-winter in the house. I hope that helps.
