Indomie Mi Goreng Instant Noodle Barbeque Chicken 425gm

My first job after university in 1980 was in Indoneisa and I lived there for 7.5 out of the next 9 years. Indomie was my go to anytime snack, and my post drinking pre-sleep snack, or wake-up with a hangover breakfast.They are the best quick-cook noodle snacks.These particular noodles are described as "dry noodles" and are meant to be drained after preparation in boiling water and then seasoned. However, they can be made with more water for more of a soup consitesncy, less water for a drier noodle snack, which can even be fried after preparation (mee goreng).Garnish with any or all of chopped spring onions, raw sliced tomato, sliced hard-boiled egg, or even add raw eggs into the water for a couple of minutes with the noodles for a poached egg or stir it in for egg strung through the noodles.All the various flavours are good, and buying a case of 40 is good value and convenient.

Arrived on time and tasted better than I thought so will get it again.

The media could not be loaded. Tasty noodles, good value for money tbh. The bbq chicken ones are the favorite in my household. I have noticed that they are high calorie though but, still a good convenience food especially for teenagers.

Sadly, inflation have hit these as the price are going up.Normally i order the chicken but these were on a better offer at £13, and i kept seeing that the mi goreng is a very popular flavour, so i thought I’d give it a go.Verdict, they are just okay. Not bad but not overly flavoursome. A little bit of a faff to mix up the seasoning compared to the chicken indomie. I was expecting more spice but it seems i need to get the original mi goreng for that and not the BBQ, which is very mild.I think I’ll stick to my usual chicken flavour and add chilli oil for kick.

We purchase this one every so often. They are great for lunch, or a snack. Kids also love them as they are very easy to cook. If you like broth, you can make them with more water or if you like them dry, you can just add less water. You can also add an egg onto it, or some meat/fish/vegetables for extra goodness.Best flavour noodles out there.

Great noodles and taste , only negative comment would be the Soy flavouring is sticky..But overall nice
