Very good quality product which as sorted my leaking bath

This review is for "Universal Bath Plug Diameter 72mm Chrome Plated Drain Plug with Innovative Double Seal Waste for Any Standard Bathtub Height Adjustable."This bath plug is a disappointment for me personally. Whilst the finish is beautiful and the manufacture is of a good high quality and metal not plastic, there is one aspect of the design that lets it down considerably.I ordered this to replace my old rusted bath plug that needs a 70mm long plunger. This unit claims to be adjustable between 45mm and 90mm so it should be great. However, the short bolt when screwed in only slightly has a maximum total length of 65mm, whilst the long bolt when screwed in completely has a minimum length of 75mm.Hence the range of 65mm to 75mm is not achievable with this unit. I think this needs to be made clear on the product listing, or they need to provide a third bolt to ensure the full range is catered for. The only way I''l be able to use this is to try and grind the long bolt to be a bit shorter - and that may well destroy the thread so even that might not work.I wont be too harsh on the rating, as for those who can use the achievable lengths it really is a very nice product - but buyers should be aware that if you need something close to 70mm this product may not work for you.I rate it four stars as a result. The price at time of review was around £10, which is pretty good for a metal plug when most are chromed plastic.

My sink seems to have a non standard plug hole and we have had to use a washing up bowl for ages. I hate them. I ordered this hoping it would work in my sink and it does. Perfect job.I love the chrome look. I dont pull it out all the way, I let it sort of diagonally hang in the plug hole and that seems to work great.

I got this as a replacement plug for my previous which has lasted for years.Quality is excellent solid metal, not coloured plastic! It fits my duravit bath which has a push up plug mechanism that is not longer working. But this plug works just fine, the pressure from the water keeps plug down so bath stays filled.Then I just pull it up to let water out! Easy and looks very nice.Would recommend.

This chrome bath plug arrives in a plain brown cardboard box protected by tissue paper and a plastic cap. There are two screw in pins of different lengths giving a considerable amount of adjustment. It fits a standard 45mm bath plug hole and seals with a double silicone ring. The dome cover then covers the whole plug hole giving a refreshed look.This is not a pop up design but works using your existing lever type arrangement to lift the plug out allowing the bath to drain. The construction is very strong and sturdy with the push fit chrome dome lying flush to the bath.I think it looks great and would be happy to recommend.

I am not sure if I misunderstood what to expect with this plug. My old plug is not a pop up type one, simply sits in the plug hole and blocks it. I have used this one in the same way, it simply slots into the plug hole. The seal is good and its a lot nicer than the old rubber one that had broken of its chain. I have deducted one point because it can be a bit fiddly to remove with the bath full. You have to put your fingernail under neath it and break the suction seal. But I can forgive that, because it looks so nice, and I would reccomend
