It's a little tricky to use. First there cannot be any wrinkles in the edge you are sealing. Second, you have to slide it along the edge you are sealing at just the right speed, too fast and it won't seal properly/completely, too slow and it will completely melt through the bag edge.

Easy to use and well worth the price. I started sealing every back left and right when it arrived. The heating element heats up quickly. I wish there was a lighting be able to tell when it’s ready and on.Small enough to store in a drawer in the kitchen. I don’t use the cutter feature, but did accidentally stab myself with it trying to use it the first time.Creates a good seal that is easy to take apart when snacking time comes around.

I want this to work. It’s a great concept. Sometimes it does - the heat seals the plastic all the way across. But then things get messy and the seal doesn’t line up right and you end up ripping the bag too far and then you’re never going to het that seal back so just eat the rest of the chips so they don’t go stale. I keep trying but I end up going back to the standard chip clips in the end.

Build quality on this product is not good. Feels extremely flimsy. To make things worse, the product did not work at all when it arrived. After putting in batteries, turning the product on with the switch, it didn't heat or seal at all. It's rare for me to really be disappointed with a product, but this one is just bad. Suggest avoiding and wasting your time and money.

Works very well! Even came with batteries. My family buys a lot of those bulk cereal bags and more times than not they rip open when trying to tear the tab across the top. This worked perfectly to reseal the bag. Saves money since we don't have to worry about wasting food it keeps it sealed and fresh. It's magnetic so I can just keep it on the fridge for when we need it. The box cutter is also very handym

Spotted this item while surfing Amazon one day and had to give it a try. It has actually impressed me for the price I paid and we’ve used it lots so far. Takes a little practice to get the hang of sliding it along the bag you are trying to seal. I usually do it across half the bag and the spin the bag around and start where I left off and finish the line the rest of the way. Hard to explain that but once you try you’ll see it’s easier to do the way and keep the bag tight while you are sealing. Especially since some bags have a seam in the middle. . The sealing process is similar to a heat strip on a vacuum sealer. Just need to recognize that it doesn’t make it perfectly air tight. So far so good. It works well enough that you don’t have to worry about the bag spilling open or have to use a chip clip to keep it closed up. Some times it’s helpful to use some scissors to cut a clean line instead of trying to fight to get the sealer to go over areas of the bag that got torn or crinkled with the original opening.

I was skeptical that this small device would work as advertised but so far it has. It is not particularly well made but it does seal bags as stated. It is very lightweight and small. The on/off switch is tight and feels like it could break easily or degrade and fail over time. Sealing bags seems to work best center out in two steps. Build Quality is just OK, Durability - we will see over time.
