Whether items are new, a warranty is important and a guide book should be included.
Because the printer was refurbished and no warranty or guide booklet which I paid $412.00, I had to return it because if it stopped working, I would loose my money for the above reason.

terrible printer
This thing is awful for intermittent use. Ink dries out and you need a new cartridge every 6 months. Just awful quality.

Won't connect to HP server 😕
I just purchased this printer yesterday attempted to set it up and it's not connecting to the HP server. I've tried everything in the troubleshooting guide and youtube. I will be returning this item immediately. Do not recommend purchasing

Conditions and ready to use
The product came in with no manual, power cord etc. Not very happpy with product conditions.

Don't Buy
Printer will not pick up photo paper. Hasn't worked since I bought it. Other than that it prints ok. Definitely need to buy XL cartridges or it will constantly be out of ink.

HP controls the ink situation.
HP is contacting many of its printers online and adding “firmware”. Through this firmware, HP controls the printer and sends some sort of message to NOT print when refilled or Non-HP cartridges are installed. This means HP can make a lot of $ for ink cartridges. This has happened to the last 2 HP printers we have owned.We have always and only purchased HP printers until now.Buy this printer if you want to pay a LOT of $ for ink. Otherwise if you want to pay a reasonable amount of $ for ink, find another brand.
