(Large) All-In-One Walking Aid with Built-In Reacher Grabber

I was very doubtful about this purchase, until it showed up and I started using it. My first impression is that compared to my other canes, it is VERY HEAVY. That took some getting used to. It has, however, proved to be incredibly nimble, effective and useful. Despite the light plastic handle, it feels very sturdy in use. Having the utility of a grabber in your hand at all times, cannot be under appreciated. It is life-changing.

this is handy and stealthy, better than alternatives i have tried. no one wants to bring a grabber to the grocery store to grab stuff on the bottom shelf, this is perfect for that.i wish the handle felt sturdier, as a cane the split handle feels cheap when you put weight on it, and you can feel the two pieces sliding apart from each other, i would also love if the grabber parts were made of metal i would certainly pay a lot more for the same design as this but with superior materials.

I’m 6’4” tall. I’ve recently had upper back surgery. I am very unsteady on my feet. I can only walk for about 100 feet. This cane gives me wonderful assistance with my balance issues and believe it or not, I drop things like a normal person. If you drop something just grab hold of the slide in the middle of the cane and pull up. Out pops a fabulous handle controlled grabber. I’ve used it to pick up dropped papers at work to my dropped iPhone at home. No problem with either situation. This is awesome for someone with unsteady balance issues as well as a hidden grabber that works like a champ.

This is a great and handy cane to have I sadly have to rely on my cane to walk as I have severe nerve damage in my leg. So I’ve tried many canes this one feels good in my hand the Length is perfect. I don’t know how many times I’ve dropped things and wished I had a grabber or someone to help me pick it up. This has given me a bit of self dependence back. It’s nice and light weight the grabbing tool built strong. My only gripe and why i have a 4 star is the handle feels like cheap plastic compared to the rest of the cane. But overall a great cane that has give me back some independence!!

This is a great travel companion for errands and road trips as it makes life with mobility challenges easier to manage. I like the durability of solid structure but it is a challenge with air travel as it is not foldable for storage. One feature I appreciate because I need help sometimes just to lift my legs with bad knees, bending is not an option.

GREAT ITEM IF TIP WAS RELIABLE. NOW ONLY PICKS UP LARGE BULKY ITEMS. HEAVY BUT VERY SAFE TO USE.. MECHANISM TO CHANGE TO GRABBER IS VERY SLICK AND EASY TO USE. ASK FOR EXTRA TIPS IF BUYING.Should have looked at reviews tosee this others had the problem oflosing tips on grabber.How so I get the lost tip replaced?What happens next? Do i need tonot mention this clever item to others?PLEASE SEND NEW LOST TIP.

As with any device IT NEEDES TO BE MAINTAINED. I had a Stroke years ago and have trouble picking up things and walking. I was working on a design for one. Day late and Dollar short LOL.I wash and lube my often. I use Reel Majic on all parts. Dries with no oily film and good for plastic.I saw a review about the handle being weak, I uses mine the other way where my weight is over the cane shaft. Works great!!! I have used it for picking up a single half peanut to retrieving objects from the pool.WASH & LUBE.

Things I like about this cane are the large, comfortable handle, and the sturdy tube construction ( with the grabber jaws withdrawn). But, with the grabber jaws extended, the plastic jaw parts broke with only a little accidental weight on the cane.
