Made in USA, great quality
Great quality and balance. Made in the USA. I'm an apprentice commercial electrician and I use this hammer pretty often. The longer neck(?) is super useful, if you're an electrician you know why. This is pretty much what differentiates this hammer from a regular hammer and it makes a big difference when you need that little bit of extra reach. If I lost this hammer I'd buy it again right away. I dont think I'll ever use a another hammer for electrical work.

Vaughan SEPTLS770E18F Electrician's Straight Claw Hammer
I purchased this Vaughan SEPTLS770E18F electricians hammer about six months ago to replace my older Klein electricians hammer that I have been using for years. I really like this Vaughan and have been using it everyday since I got it. One thing I particularly like about it is that the overall length is about and inch shorter than the Klein hammer, so it fits better in my 5-gallon tool bucket and can actually fit in between 16-inch on center joist and studs, which the Klein will not. I find that this gives me a little more flexibility when working in between crawl space floor joist and other similar tight spots where for some reason the handle needs to be horizontal. It still has the extra-long nose like the Klein so it can reach into recessed areas for stapling cables, like sill plates that aren’t flush with the top edge of concrete foundation walls. The straight claw is nicely tapered so it can slip in behind or be wedged into crevices better than a curved claw hammer for prying. This 20-oz hammer is nicely balanced with a non-conductive fiberglass handle and comfortable rubber grip, so is now my favorite, go-to hammer. BTW, the red, white and blue flag decoration on the grip is just a thermofilm shrink wrap which will get damaged over time so, can be peeled off if desired
