Absolutely love this product it has saved our cloths from dark marks!!

This is the best I use mine all the time the only bad thing is it doesn’t want to stay on the iron so I use a thick double sided tape and tape the nose to the iron and it works great

I have been using this1998 and I have never scorched any fabric. I love it. You can even iron velvet or the sheerest and finest of fabrics. I would never use an iron without it. I bought in 1998 on QVC or HSN and have never looked back. It came at that time in a two pack and I gave one away to a seamstress and have have been looking for the same one till today. I even had a Rowenta iron that caught fire and this made it through that. It is the best investment I have ever made. I am only buying a new one because after all those years it has a hole at the top point of the iron. I have probably gone through 4 or 5 irons over the years because they don't make them like they used to. My iron stays cleans and the steam always gets through.

Works well so I can leave my iron on high/high steam and not scorch things, however it doesn't quite cover the bottom 1/2" of the soleplate on my Rowenta. It's also a little rough cut around the edges, though it hasn't snagged anything (that edge is up away from the ironing surface.) The package also lacks directions on how to install. Overall, it meets my needs, but I feel the quality could be improved.

The item pictured is NOT what you receive! I got a piece of silicone wrapped in a ziploc bag, but the worst of it was the scratching that occurred as I attempted to give it a try. The rings that hold it on to the iron scratched the sides of my expensive iron horribly- I didn't even try it. Returning it before I risk further damage!

In today's world many people buy clothes that don't need to be ironed. I still like wrinkle free clothing. I am old school and I like the look of well ironed clothes. This product protects the fabric from scotch and burn marks. Allowing me use higher heat settings on various fabrics. It's a real shame that others who have tried this cover was disappointed. I came across this cover in my travels overseas - it was in my hotel room - and completely fell in love with it. I was thrilled that Amazon carried it and had to have it for my iron at home. I turn my iron on high with steam and leave it there - no matter what type of material I'm ironing. It will not burn the material!! It's the best $6 I've ever spent. Highly recommend you giving it a try. If you don't like than seriously...it's only $6. A starbucks cost more than $6!!
