See review for the pros and cons, too many to summarize here
Pros:Simple and intuitive, not hard to understand how to use theseGreat to get a set of 50 for such an affordable price! The back pops off very easily once you have something small enough to pry it out.Cons:Doesn't come with a circle paper guide that you can use to trace around whatever you have to cut out to put in the badge - it doesn't work to draw around the edge of the badge. (That's going to give you a circle that's a little too big, and if you try to force it to fit, you'll get wrinkles and ridges in your picture.)- To fix that, you end up having to trim around the circle with your scissors, which takes a lot of concentration and time. FAR too much time and hassle, cutting circles twice per badge!- To address this, I've ordered a 2" circle punch but the measurement across inside the badge is 2.1" so it might show an empty bit all the way around. If so, I'll update. If I don't update, assume you can get a 2" circle punch, too.UPDATE: I love the 2" hole punch for this! But, yes, if I'm looking, I can see a transparent ring around the image inside the main circle of the badge. If I could have a 2.1" hole punch, I'd be pleased as punch!- You won't have to worry about this if you're printing images in 2.1" circles or on pre-cut stickers.Doesn't come with the pictured pin to poke into the back of the badge. I tried to use a small phillips head screwdriver which was too fat to get into the notch. I used an eyeglass screwdriver successfully. I believe you could use a safety pin or an unbent paperclip to fit into the notch and pry off the back.

Scuffed plastic pieces :(
I checked several of these buttons, and all that I looked at were scuffed up. I've not used them yet, but I was disappointed that they went to the trouble and waste of individually wrapping each button, yet the plastic was still scratched and scuffed and not clear looking. The buttons were kind of hard to open at first, but once I figured it out, just pop them out, it was fine. They are a medium size, on the larger size for a button, but not huge, they are a weird middle size, between normal small button and normal large button. The pin backing seems to press up against whatever is inside the button, so if you're using plain paper, it may break through that. I'd suggest using some kind of backing for whatever you put in there. If they weren't so scuffed I would say it was a great value, but these feel like sub-par quality. So I'm not thrilled with them.
