Excellent killing of mosquitoes, really kept them away, we have a lot of trees on half acres, I can sit on the porch and have my cigarette or watch on my phone.Was very impressed that the wick burned evenly.Really got my money worth!

Appears to work well. Good size flame helps to deter insects and bees. We use with eating evening meal outside.

The product really looks good and serves it purpose in my backyard.Giving it a 4 star rating because received damaged and plastic lid to keep it covered during non usage was received completely damaged . Had no time to return or replace as this was a last moment purchase for a gathering. Handling needs to be better

It's smell is not too overpowering and does an amazing job keeping mosquitoes away. We've used it on the patio during several evening gatherings, and everyone noticed a difference. It burns evenly and lasts a long time, which is a big plus. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors without being eaten alive!

Having bought these candles many years ago, I bought three of these candles again, but now years later this new quality is absolutely terrible. They came with only one lid that was all cracked and broke. I would typically use those to cover it up to keep bugs out after I'd blown the flame out. But that wasn't an option. Two of them were dented and all the handles were missing. But none of that would have mattered had the candles actually worked correctly. I you leave them to burn for a while to keep the mosquitoes away, then all the wax will turn to liquid and the wicks fall to the bottom. Obviously wax will turn liquid if it all gets hot, but the wicks were so thin and flimsy that there's nothing holding them up when that happens. These candles are supposedly designed to burn for a long time to keep bugs away, but if the wicke aren't able to stand up and stay firm then the candle is done for. And that is what happened to us. All the wicks fell to the bottom and then when the wax hardened they're useless.

Package wasn't plastic wrapped for the weather conditions and package was totally rain soaked and sopping wet. Metal tins inside damaged but still usable as candles. Plastic covers for tins all totally destroyed; these plastic covers cheaper than the soda tops used by fast food restaurants. Items still usable as outdoors citronella candles, but tins and plastic pretty cheaply made! If all you want is an outdoor citronella candle and don't mind dents in containers, then these are for you!
