Pegasus Spiele 950750 1/144 M4A3 Sherman Model Kit

Nice little model tanks and a great price! But these are not M4A3 tanks they are clearly M4A1(76) W HVSS tanks you can cleary tell! M4A1 tanks have rounded hulls this is because they were cast. The m4A3 hulls have sharper steeper hulls. Like I said great little tanks they are just mislabeled me personally I like the look of the rounded cast hulls on the M4A1 I knew these were mislabeled when I purchased them!

This is a very good product besides the part of how it is miss labeled. The tank that they are selling is NOT an M4A3 Sherman. It is actually an M4A1 76 (W) Sherman with HVSS suspension. It is the A1 Model due to the hull, the A1 Sherman has a rounded front while the A3 Sherman has a flat front. If you look at the turret it has a muzzle break, which is not fitted on the normal turret (The Original gun the Sherman used was a 75mm cannon. But the 76 mm cannon was fitted to the A1 Sherman.) But besides those flaws it is a very nice model (even though it’s miss labeled).

I had some apprehension when I ordered this two-pack of Shermans. I feared that the little guys would be off-scale or poorly made. Nope. These two will fit right in with my other 144 scale tank replicas. Nothing moves on the tanks, which doesn't trouble me and which I did not expect. The tanks are painted a solid Army green with the only trim being black painted treads and white US star on the turret. That I also expected. I can customize them as I wish.This two-pack didn't cost me very much, they will do what I want them to do and the delivery was very quick and safe. The shippers did a good job of preserving them from the terrors of shipment. These are plastic tanks with long, fragile gun barrels but they came through just fine.At these prices, now that I know first hand about the quality of the items, I will be able to afford to order out others from the same manufacturer. Got my eye on some halftracks.

At $10 these are nice, that's what I paid for them. Nice detail, great for wargaming uses. At this scale though, you will still need to be careful with them though. The barrels are plastic, and very thin. Paint is nice too, not overdone. Could have more details painted, but you can do that yourself if want.

Great Miniature tanks for board games with lots of detail. Works good with 1/144 board game miniatures.

Seems a little fragile but they are highly detailed, the turret moves, and they are awesome
