Extractor works after some tweaks, construction quality leaves a little to be desired. This is for cold or warm water only, the tubing used on the water hose is not designed for hot water. The mesh strainer should be put on the garden hose water inlet side of the setup, it will keep small particles from clogging the fine nozzle on the extractor.Price seems a bit high for what you are getting, and only having 9ft of vac and 26ft of water hose. If you are handy, you may be able to get a better deal with longer hoses by buying just the extractor attachment as a standalone, and making your own hose setup. It's worth looking into.This kit has almost everything needed, except a shop vac hose adapter. A 2-inch flexible PVC coupling will fit over the hose that comes with this extractor, it may be helpful to adapt to your vac hose, depending on the model and hose size. Shop vac hose sizing is a mess across different manufacturers, not really the fault of this product or any other.The water hose in this package is just reinforced tubing, with hose clamps holding it onto brass fittings. This is not the most professional look, but it does allow the hose to be replaced fairly easily if it gets damaged.The extractor nozzle is fairly well-made, although it seems to use a combination of brass, copper, and steel parts. This may lead to galvanic corrosion over time. So far it looks ok, but it's something to monitor. At this price, all stainless steel hardware would have been ideal.

Nothing about this screamed 'professionals only' so I was surprised that I didn't get any instructions with it at all. If it works, that would be great. I have a good shop vac but this is a completely new beast for me and not realizing that it's a 'you're on your own' purchase isn't fun. I'm still working with it and have some help on the way so I'll update once I can get it going but as a purchase in and of itself be warned. You gotta be ready to research or get some assistance!

The item came broken so I ordered a replacement. I still tried the original product and I was happy with the results. I'm glad I ordered a replacement.

I'm taking a star off of this shop vac hose set because it didn't come with any instructions, and my nerves ended up bad while I tried to figure everything out.Overall, it works. It can definitely help out in a pinch. It is not name brand quality, but it also isn't a name brand price.

I got this to clean couches in my home. I have dogs and wanted something that was simple and I thought this would be it.It does not come with any instructions so you have to try and figure it all out on your own. I was getting frustrated so I gave up. I am not sure how well it works since I have yet to get it hooked up.

I picked this up for occasionally cleaning our car carpets and immediately after getting it our Great Dane jumped in the back of my truck while I had the seats folded down and his feet were covered in mud.Needless to say this turned out to be a lifesaver when I thought it was only going to be a convince.Overall, I am pleased, and would buy it again.5 STARS

I got this working great with my shop vac and hot (well, warm) house water. It took a little doing, as the vac hose was not the advertised 1.5inches. The shop vac universe is one where nothing fits like it is supposed to, so this was not a surprise. This is new to me, and it was not that hard to figure out, but instructions, a manual, a video, anything would have been helpful.The big redeemer here is that all the gear is 1st rate. The materials, the fittings, the in-line filter (why?) are all duty-grade. I assume this is actually geared for someone in the trade.... which maybe explains the lack of hand-holding. Sitting here, this is probably five-star for the target demographic, but others will buy it too. A little guidance is not too much to ask. But it is really damn good.

This universal extractor hose kit arrived intact and in new condition inside of a generic looking box. It did not come with any instructions or user manual. So I would only recommend this for professionals. The build quality is excellent all around. There was a little moisture still in the clear part from factory testing. This kit is a car detailers best friend. It works well to extract the deep dirt. Overall, I am happy with it.
