Pachysandra Terminalis 'Green Carpet' Groundcover - 100 Bare Root Plants

Plants arrived yesterday in a plastic bag, secured by a rubber band. My wife was appalled by the packaging, but I am a Master Gardener and quickly recognized that the plants looked quite healthy. I planted the Pachysandra today and I am sure they will grow nicely (If they don't I will update this review in a month). Note that although they send you 100 plants, they are bunched together in 3-4 plants. That worked well with me and I planted them in bunches rather than pulling them apart and possibly stressing the plant. After planting, make sure the soil is moist (not soaked) for the next 2-3 weeks until the roots become established.

I have pachysandra all over my yard and will be buying more next summer. These are the perfect color and stay green year round.LOVE them

The plants arrived within just a few days. I thought that was pretty good considering they were shipped from Ohio and I live in Texas.I’ve never ordered plants online so I was somewhat skeptical. But, this company had many great reviews so I gave it a try.I am happy to say the plants - all 200 of them - arrived alive and well organized.I snapped a few pics so you could see how they were shipped. They were wrapped in newspaper in the box. Then bundled with plastic into 100 plants. Finally, those 100 were bundled down into packs of 25. As you can see in the pic with the tape measure they’re a good, healthy size. In fact, they were larger than I thought they would be.They only reason I didn’t give this review five stars is because I just planted them and am waiting to see if they grow.I’ll post a follow-up. But, so far, so good.

The plants arrived very quickly and were in great shape. Very mature bare root plants packaged in groups of 100 that came with very well written and explicit planting instructions. 2 months later none have died, and they are spreading like mad-just what I needed.

The pachysandra was delivered quickly with complete instructions as to how to care for them if not planted immediately, as well as how to plant. They were packaged in bundles of 12, were healthy and fresh. After one month, they are growing and filling in nicely. Highly recommend!

I was dissatisfied. When we received them they were beautiful. We planted them immediately. Watered them faithfully everyday like instructed and they all still died, all of them.

Do not plant pachysandra under any circumstances. People who lived in house before us planted it, no doubt in a small area. It was ignored by later homeowners. It now blankets the forest behind our house. I've spend hours pulling the stuff up and haven't made a dent. Do not tell me it's not an invasive. It's swallowed up trillium and ferns and other wildflowers.
