sturdy enough, reasonable assembly, good price
After reading some reviews I was pleased to assemble this in about an hour. Instructions were not great, but better than many similar products I've assembled lately. Here's where I think some people have troubles:It's true the feet get screwed in to the base board and have no predrilled holes. But predrilled holes aren't needed and alignment is easy. The problem may be that if you use a regular manual screwdriver it could take awhile to get 12 little screws put in. But if you use any kind of electric screwdriver, as I always do, then it will take a couple minutes and they're all in. Another potential issue is the small print of the instructions and the parts list. I strained and read it just fine. Unlike what I read in some reviews, the parts are all marked. It's faint and in red but look for the letters on the unfinished edges and you'll be fine. Finally, the screws are not marked but they're in individual bags. I suggest before you start that you count the number of screws in each bag, look at the parts list to see which number screw it has to be, and write it on the bag yourself. With that all parts and hardware are marked and you can follow the directions, carefully watching alignment as always, and it will be straightforward. Once you finish it seems quite sturdy and even though the moving parts are plastic, it doesn't seem like they can practically have enough room to flex or break, so I think it will last a long time. Finally, it's tall, thin, and heavy so you need to attach it to a wall so that little kids don't pull it down on themselves.

It looks really nice, but it's a bit small
The cabinet is NOT plastic. It's made of engineered wood. It looks really nice, but it's a bit small. Doesn't hold boots and if you'r a man with giant feet (maybe more than a size 10), you might have to slant you shoes a little to close the door. But overall, it's has a clean modern appearance. I'm not really sure why the other reviews say it's really flimsy or unstable. As long as you're slamming things or having babies climb on it, then it's a nice shoe cabinet that serves it's purpose well. I just wished the legs weren't gray and such an eye sore. Assembly can be difficult for people who have never put together furniture. But if you've purchased any ikea stuff or have slight experience with furniture assemble, this is manageable.

Only useful for women's/kids shoes
I'm definitely one of those who are good at DIY and stuff. But this one took the longest time to assemble out of all the furniture I bought and assembled. And after it was completed, it could only hold 6 pairs of men's shoes. The space is so limited that it's impossible to put another row of shoes, otherwise the door won't close. Maybe it'll work and hold more shoes for women. But all in all, the only good quality is it looks decent. The build/quality is poor as well. If you are looking for a shoe rack, shoe cabinet or shoe organizer, go on with your searching. I've thrown away the package, and there was a very stupid design that caused me to break a small part so I won't be returning this. A regretful purchase.

Works great!! Just as expected!!
Exactly what I expected. The cabinet is made of partical board like everything else is these days. Not the most solid sturdy thing but I didn't expect it to be. Works great for holding all my wife's shoes and flip flops so they aren't just stacked in the corner of our room. Will be ordering more for my daughters rooms soon.

You get what you pay for
Storage was kinda a pain to put together but got it done. It looked nice and did its job. After 2.5 years it has broken. It was cheap so I’m somewhat happy with its longevity.

Solid and serviceable
Great step up from the plastic bins we were using previously. Very high sneakers need to be pushed way in for the doors to close nicely, but otherwise, it's holding a dozen pair of kids shoes and the most frequently worn pairs of adult shoes, with some slippers slipped in underneath. We keep it in the front hall, so it also holds outgoing mail and other stuff on top.Yes, you build it yourself (took me an hour or two while watching TV), and no, it's not Chippendale furniture, but it's solid and heavy, and the rare shoe cupboard that's narrow enough for a typical hallway or entry -- about the only other thing that worked in our space was the Ikea equivalent, which is smaller, flimsier, and has to be hung from the walls. I'm very happy with this purchase as a more grown up way to do the same job.

Sturdy walls but HORRIBLE hinge
As people have mentioned, instructions were vague and lacking, but not impossible to navigate. Just read the instructions a few times before starting. The REAL issue is the joint/hinge that the drawers open and swing on. They’re literally too big to fit in the hole. I had to meticulously shave off bits and pieces of the wood for just one to fit into the hole, and then 3 more times to finish them all. It wasn’t a matter of just squishing it in because it was obviously too large to fit. I tried a hammer, but even that didn’t work because it was too big for the hole. Not to mention, the hole is rather shallow as well, so even after you enlarge it diameter wise the shelf can still fall out from the weight of the shoes…2 stars because at least the wood is sturdy when put together. Unfortunately, everything else is a miss and I would 100% NOT RECOMMEND this product.

Great 👍🏼 😊
Negative reviews did not sway me and I am glad. Easy to put together you will need the instructions provided and a little common sense. I did not want the legs on and it fits and looks perfect where I need it! Left out the middle part in shelf to give more room for shoes. Fits all my sandals and running shoes (minimalist tho so..) and 6 of my husbands running shoes. Fast shipment and delivery so all in all great experience for me!
