Q: Why are you charging twice the retail cost of this item?

As long as impatient consumers are willing to buy products above MSRP, scalpers like this seller will continue to profit and exist. And, if you buy this yoke for $500, you haven't done your research on other yokes that are much higher quality and only cost slightly more than this overpriced item. Buyer beware.

Q: What are the dimensions of the large square-ish part of the mounting piece?

The yoke itself is larger than the mounting piece. The yoke box width is just under 11 inches. The yoke box depth is about 10 inches of you count the switches but not the yoke itself. The mounting piece is about 10 inches deep and 8.5 inches wide. These are approximate for the base plate as I don't want to take the yoke off it.

Q: what is the length of the under mount bolts to secure the yoke to the table top?

I'm not sure about undermount bolts. I believe that both the yoke and throttle quadrant have nice "C" clamps that have a depth (the amount that goes onto the table) of about 2" and an opening that may be 1/4" more. Both of these items have a plate that sits on the table top and then the yoke or quadrant mount onto it.
