The container looks really good, but it came without the red plug that is needed for indoor use. Please advise how to obtain this missing part. I will upgrade the rating once the item is complete.Thank you.

For those that are like me and forget to water plants, or are just a beginner at planting this is the pot for you. I love this pot and will be purchasing again.

I just ordered three more of these great TruDrop planter pots! I now have a total of 12 in various sizes. The best made self watering pot on the market. In normal weather under 70, I fill the pots up every 10 days. But in extreme heat over 90, I am filling the pots up every 3-4 days. But worth the price!Highly recommend, but order early they sell out fast.

This amazing pot is beautifully designed and wonderfully easy to know when to water.

I bought this a year ago and was fine for almost a year in the San Joaquin Valley in California. After about 8 months I noticed the water guage seemed different. During a break in the rain I started taking a closer look at the problem. Inside is a long clear tube of clear plastic that the blue indicators reside then a gray plastic tube is inserted that separate the blue indicators in their individual slots. Somehow the clear tube, where the gray is inserted has a small crack which has caused the gray to no longer fit snugly, and in turn the blue indicators do not raise correctly and no long function as they should. Now, the guarantee that the company touts only pertains to the outside of the planter, not water guage components. Hmmm, not good. At first the company quoted $30 + shipping for clear plastic tube but I objected so now about $15.00 for shipping. For such an expensive item am disappointed guarantee does not include the self watering guage, which, once apart, does not look all that expensive. Will not order again. Follow up:. After politely voicing my disappointment to the company representatives I have now been told a replacement will now be sent, this one time, with no charge.

I love the idea of this product and purchased two pots for my front porch. I watched a few youtube videos to make sure I was preparing the pots correctly but they haven't worked like I thought they would. It could be a mistake on my part. I would like to talk to someone about them to see if I am doing something wrong. The indicators are not working and without the red plugs the water runs right out of them. I filled them up completely with the plugs inserted just before leaving for a weeks vacation. When we returned all the flowers in the pots were dry and brittle. The weather has gotten much warmer that could definitely be a factor but I was hoping they would last longer than a week. The same thing happened in June but that time we were gone for 2 weeks. Can someone help me? I just really want these to work! - Thank you!

It is rather expensive for what it is. Just a plastic pot.

I was skeptical but decided to try one of the self watering planters. It works as well as advertised. I am planning on ordering more. It is wonderful in this hot and humid summer that we are having. I only water the plants in this every 2 - 3 weeks and the are thriving. I only bought one for this year because I was unsure of how well they would work and they are a little pricey. But I have been out watering my other plants every 1-2 days and have decided they are worth the price because they are such a timesaver. Am going to try one indoors this winter. Highly recommend.
