AC Infinity AIRTITAN T8-N, Crawlspace Basement Ventilator Fan, WiFi App-Compatible Temperature Humidity Controller, IP-55 Rated, Intake

These AC Infinity products are great. I am using 3 to ventilate my crawlspace and they have been flawlessly in service for 18 months now.We purchased this unit to control the temperature and humidity in a chick brooder box. It performed perfectly.Often it feels like connecting similar devices to the app and WiFi is a hit or miss operation. Not with these AC Infinity products. They just connect and work. There are tons of options for temperature and humidity triggered events as well as scheduled events.

This ventilation fan exudes high quality, from the packaging to the sturdy construction to the electronic controls to the instruction manual. From reading the instruction manual online, I ordered the S3 fan thinking that this would allow me to reduce the humidity in my crawl space. And it would do that, but the S3 does not have an integrated humidity control, so I returned the S3 and ordered the T3 that does include the integrated humidity, as well as temperature, and vapor pressure deficit control. But the unit that arrived had already been opened and the fan blades rattling around loose within the fan housing; clearly, this was a damaged return that I received, and I don't know if this was the fault of Amazon or AC Infinity, the maker of this fan. Regardless, I returned the damaged fan and ordered another T3. The new T3 was perfectly packaged, just like the original S3 I had received but returned, and worked flawlessly. There was one question I had about setting up the controller, and Gabriel, the customer service person I spoke with at AC Infinity, was a pleasure to talk with and super helpful, and he talked me through the answer to my question. Setting up the controller definitely takes some time because there are several interacting variables that need to be set correctly for the fan to operate as intended, but the manual is written clearly and well. I read the controller manual one time, put it aside for 12 hours, then read it again with the controller in hand while changing settings to see what happened. It took about an hour for this second read of the controller manual and setting the controller the way I wanted. This is definitely a very high quality ventilation fan, the price is comparable to other fans that do not have nearly the sophistication nor control nor quality.

The media could not be loaded. This product is typically used to air out crawl spaces and attics, and I think that it would do an OK job at these tasks. I ended up buying this for two reasons: It is fairly plug-and-play, and I enjoyed that it both took and told the temperature and changed its function based on that.The GOOD:-This does its job. You can set it to turn on at a certain temperature or humidity range, and it both accurately reads these and activates based on them.-It's not really that loud at full blast.-This is a high-quality build, appears fairly dust/waterproof, and I have no worries that it will keep chugging through both the blistering summer and frigid winterThe OKAY:-It's kind of dumb that you have to unscrew the fan and turn them 180 degrees to switch the direction of airflow. They actually make a separate product that blows the opposite direction, but they do admit that you can do this yourself. I really think that this could be simplified with just some simple tweaks, and certainly shouldn't require you to purchase a very similar but "opposite facing" product.-Although it claims to have variable speeds based on conditions, I can not say that I've seen that in action. In fact, I've exclusively only seen it ramp up to 10 when conditions for "ON" are met. Example: I set it to begin at 78 degrees. At 77 it is off completely. At 78 it runs from 1-9 in the span of about a minute, and then runs at 10 (highest mode) until the temperature eventually reduces to 77 later in the day.The BAD:-This is pretty expensive for just a ventilation fan. You're paying for the bells and whistles, but honestly I wouldn't mind a WIFI connection so that I can check on the temperature/settings when away (or for attics, so I don't have to crawl up there)-I don't think it really moves THAT much air. If you put your hand behind it, you'll feel a breeze. You'll definitely hear the motor. But I don't think that it's really circulating more than, say, a desk fan would do. It doesn't actually work well enough for what I use it for (ventilating a solar shed), but that wasn't really what it was built to do.All-in-all, it's one of the best products out there for this niche. It's plug-and-go, and it's designed pretty well to withstand tough conditions. Other than the expense and the fact that its variable power isn't really variable (basically just ON and OFF fan modes), it does do its job well.4 out of 5!-

The media could not be loaded. What an amazing product! I have a storage closet outside that has had a lot of issues staying cool, and getting extremely humid. It gets that damp mildew smell. This is such a clean installed item with countless applications. It would be perfect for an AV closet, computer closet, garage, or shed. The thermostat does both humidity and temperature. Easy install , extremely clean looking. Very quiet and well built. Just make sure there is a a good air return for maximum effectiveness. The best part is that musty smell is gone! Now i feel so much better having my stuff stored! It is more expensive that other options and may not pull as much air as more industrial vents but it's perfect for smaller environment. It would not be suitable for a large garage, or large attic space. The AC Infinity AIRLIFT T10, AC Infinity AIRLIFT T12, AC Infinity AIRLIFT T14 . Thats 10 inch, 12 inch, 14 inch.The best part about these fans in you can attached a second set of fans to the unit. So if it comes with one fan, you can add a second fan. Which is amazing. So lots of possibilities! It is a no brainer!Enjoy!
