CuiZen CUI-76278 Vertical Rotisserie, Black/Champagne

We bought this to replace an elderly Oster Rotisserie. I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews that indicated difficulty getting a chicken evenly cooked. However, having learned sometime ago that most negative reviews are due to operator error, I decided to buy this CuiZen. We tried a 5 1/2 lb Costco chicken first. After some math involving the suggested cooking time, I figured I might have to add some time after the maximum time setting had expired (One Hour, 50 some minutes max timer available.) However, testing the internal temp at major joints, breast, etc. when the first cycle was over, showed a 180 degree temp throughout. Chicken was done perfectly and evenly throughout, with crisp skin. The next week we tried a 3 lb pork roast. Used the suggested temp/time with perfect results.I did discover that you must make sure the bottom tray is seated on the "axle" to make everything rotate-that's what the "motor" button is for, to make sure everything is aligned and doesn't hit the heating element.Bottom line is we are happy with this Rotisserie.

This is a great product! Works really well no issues with cleanup and looks really nice in kitchen. When in use it is extremely quiet so it will not disturb you when in use. Only complaint is that it will only cook for an hour and fifty nine minutes then you have to reset the timer, if your cooking something that takes longer like a large chicken that needs to cook 2 1/2 hours. But does a great job on chicken and ribs. I would recommend.

I absolutely love this rotisserie cooker. The chicken comes out juicy skin is so crisp it is to die for. You will never go back to the store bought stuff after you try this. I do have on complaint about the device. After your chicken is done cooking there's really no easy way to retrieve it from the cooker. The only way I have found to do this is that I took a knife sharpener, the long stick type, and slid it into the top of the chicken holder and was able to lift it out with this the cooker, which is why I only gave it four stars instead of five. It really should have come with something to retrieve your meal with. Beyond that one little complaints I have to say this is a totally amazing machine.

I bought this in November 2015. The first time I used it, it worked great. The second time I used it the timer wouldn't go past one hour. I had to set the timer for one hour and 59 minutes and then reset it for more time. The third time I used it the same thing happened with the timer. It took 3 1/2 hours to cook a 4 pound chicken and then the legs were not cooked all the way. Definitely do not recommend this item.

The reason I don't like it is because the voltage is not coherent with Australian voltage,hence i It remains in it;s packing box as it was when it arrived.I am quite sad about this as it looks perfect,didn't realise such an item would be shipped to Australia.I will have to be more observant with my future purchases.Thank you for asking.

Very pleased with this. Works as described, does not make a mess. Which is important as the last rotisserie I had, the George Forman was a grease spiter, and always hard to keep clean. Grease drips straight down into a easily removable small round pan, not a tray. This also has a very quality appearance, much better than any of the oven type designs I looked at. It is also easy to use. The temperature and timer are digital and simple to use. Never liked the knob type on/off timers. No issues with cooking anything. Anyone who thinks it does not heat evenly, has no idea what they are talking about. Some people complained about noise. Mine is very quiet.

This is a decent rotisserie for the money. A few disappointments though. Although you can adjust the temperature, you are locked in to the presets of 350, 375, 400, 425 etc. It does not allow you to set the exact temperature you would like (personally I like a lower temperature for a longer cook time). I will leave the door open while it is in use to lower the temperature. The timer is very lacking. The longest you can set it for is 1:59 minutes, after that it shuts off. If you want something in there longer than that while you are away, you are out of luck. It is easy to use and does do a pretty good job though. Easy clean up.

Why didn't I buy this sooner? Cooks chicken to perfection and is very easy to clean. Iloveit so much, I bought it as a gift for my brother. The only thing this is lacking is a cooking guide per pound. I wish I didn't have to guestimate so much. I've had this about two months and now have confidence over cook times. IF you have limited kitchen sapce you need to know the footprint is large; however, it does such a great job, I think you will be happy
