I should start by saying that I would absolutely give these headphones 4 stars if they were just regular bluetooth headphones. They're comfortable (though not as comfortable as my wired Bose over ear headphones - see side by side comparison photo) and they actually sound really good!! The active noise cancelling works well if you simply want to cancel out noise. I tried this standing right next to a loud air filter I have and in the same room with my train crazy autistic 4 year old and they DEFINITELY work to diminish (but not entirely block out) sound around you. That being said, when the ANC is switched on, the quality of the music you're playing completely goes down the drain. It suddenly gets quiet, flat and tinny sounding with no depth or bass whatsoever. This is sorely disappointing. Unless you're looking for ANC headphones to use purely to wear for blocking out noise and not listening to anything while you do, then I would definitely think twice before buying. It seems that Bose is still the 500lb Gorilla in the ANC arena and no one else has really figured out how to make it work as well as they do. You pay a hefty price tag for Bose headphones with ANC (a price tag I haven't quite been able to stomach just yet) but you definitely get what you pay for. As for these headphones, if you ignore the ANC function entirely, they actually make a really decent pair of over ear bluetooth headphones and listening is a pleasure. So far the battery life has been very good and I like the way they fold and fit in the case they come with. Pairing is very simple and the voice that guides you through the process is intelligible. The bluetooth connection has been very stable for me with my iPhone 8. They seem fairly well made for the price point and have held up well so far. The on ear controls definitely take some getting used to and my hands still find it awkward to locate all the buttons and switches, but I've seen worse in terms of design. All said and done I can recommend these as nice wireless over ear headphones, and the ANC function does work to block out certain frequencies of sound, but if you want to listen to music while you block out noise, keep looking.

The noise Cancellation is tinny, the battery will last longer and the bass sounds better if you don't use the noise Cancellation. The ear muffs come with some sort of film/dust on them. Me personally, am allergic to it They sound great for the price. Plus the fact that they have a built in microphone is the reason I bought them.It takes a couple of minutes to understand the instructions. Mess around with them, with common sense you can figure them out. Well I did anyway. I threw them away... after using them twice and getting physically sick. I wouldn't give them away. BUY CHEAP... GET CHEAP.

I just spent $60 for a Sony Platinum series gaming headphones, they are good for the price. These were purchased for 10% of that price, and feel 100% more solidly constructed! I get the design difference, but the price difference is ridonkulous! How much is the wireless interface anyway? $4.00? Less? Difference is, gaming = light = less neck fatigue, specifically while scanning for threats, i.e. Noise cancelling = (hopefully), less stress, relaxation, concentration, work, music, television, i.e. But $6.99?? Thank you I should have bought more! Can I still?

Well this is a first for me. These headphones are FANTASTIC! Noise cancelation is wonderful. The stereo quality is best I have heard so far. I work in noisy server farms and hearing conversations on my cell through the headphones is easy. For the price they are an unparalleled match.

These headphones are comfortable and have a very nice weight to them. The sound quality is very good, comparable to other name brand headphones of the same price, and they are easy to connect to Bluetooth on both phone and laptop. However, the noise cancelling isn't very effective, though I haven't toyed around with it enough to see what it does and doesn't work on.
