TL/DR. Strong and solid. Well worth it. But glow in the dark tape to mark out the dimensions to be easily seen in low/no light.We got these to keep the dogs from going up stairs. I put it together fairly easily by myself. We used the wall protectors. They help to spread out the pressure of the anchors over a larger area and they match so it does not draw attention to it.Took about 20 minutes to install, because I forgot to add the brace to the bottom and had to redo it. And 5 minutes to figure out where exactly we want it. Let me tell you about it! It is solid! It don't move. The auto shut and stay open feature is awesome! I am a bigger guy. 6'2" and 240 lbs. If I had to find something to complain about it would be that I wish the gate was about 4-6 inches wider. But that is just me. We love it. We also got some glow in the dark tape that we put around the door so in low light or at night we can still see where it is open it.

The latch mechanism is much easier to use than gates where you have to slide a button and lift the entire gate to unlock. With this one you just push on the handle and it slide it horizontally which is way easier to open. Hopefully not too easy but only time will tell if our 18 month old will figure it out. The gate also stays open at 90 degrees much better than our last one (different brand) which would slam closed at the slightest touch as kids ran through the opening. My only complaint so far is that if you're installing it between a wide span (our area is 71" wide) and use all the extension sections then is bows in the middle a bit if you push on it due to the gate ramp being made of slippery plastic. This could easily be fixed if the manufacturer attached some grippy rubber to the bottom of the gate ramp which would then grab onto a smooth hardwood floor and prevent the gate section from sliding around. I managed to stick some rubber to it myself and that solved the problem but it's something that should have been included at this price.

Sturdy gate easy to assemble and it doesn’t look cheap worth every penny!!!!

These are great to keep my toddler and dogs out of the cats litterbox area. My cat is petite and can fit through the gap along the door frame. But best of all I put another one on my toddlers play room to keep my dogs out and made it so the latch just misses locking - therefore my toddler and I can both go in and out with just a push or pull of the door and it swings flush that the dogs don't even try to go through it!! It is sooo great for this use!!

I got the extra wide (86-105 inch) baby gate. It comes in five different sections - a gate, two large extensions, and two small extensions.The main problem is that the sections don't snap together - they're held in place by tension. So for this long gate, it's impossible to install with a single person - you need at least two people, one to hold the gate up, and another to tighten the tension. For our gate, we really needed two people to hold it, which was a huge inconvenience; I expected to be able to install it by myself.This also creates a problem when trying to create tension. Because nothing is holding the sections together and keeping them aligned, when we tried to tighten the gate just enough that it could hold itself up and we could let go, the sections buckled at their extension instead of securing the gate across the opening.I was very disappointed by this product.

Perfect fit, keeps my dogs where they need to be.
