This thing is great..! At exactly the intended use. The solar, crank, and features are the best throwback. Don't expect fast charging- but it will keep your phone alive no matter what. It has multiple lights, and after a day sitting on my windowsill the light lasted through the night.Will do am/FM and has a setting to go straight to the weather broadcast. If your goal is to have an emergency device for: light, moderate charging, and emergency communications? This is the thing to have. It's also great for teaching kids about how RF, faraday's law, and wave theory.10/10

Great little weather radio at it's price point, presently $30 (w/ 25% discount). It is compact and seems well enough built. It is very easy to operate with the simple dial knobs for volume and tuning. This radio has better reception than the other portable radio I have of another brand, which I appreciate as I live in a more remote area along the coast. If you are looking for an affordable radio to use during a power outage to keep in touch with pending weather, or you could easily carry to the beach or pool, I would recommend you take a look at this one. It does not have shortwave band and being as small as it is don't expect boom box sound quality sound but it performs well for its size.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love how this product can charge my phone! We go camping alot and use this for charging and emergencies. This product can def save someone’s life. Easy to use. Solar generated. Charges phone fast nice and small. Not heavy

This product works well for its intended purposes. The extendable antenna picks up signals effectively, and the speaker delivers clear sound. The SOS function can be a bit annoying, but as long as you keep the switch on power, it won’t be an issue.The reading light and flashlight are both bright, making it easy to quickly locate things I've dropped in the dark.While I’m not sure how to test the power generated by cranking, I’ve found it to be a fun little fidget while watching movies or TV. The handle is sturdy and well-protected when not in use, and it turns smoothly with a light motor hum, which I personally find relaxing (though your experience may differ).It’s not "heavy," but it does feel substantial. Lighter than my phone, the plastic is well-molded with no visible seams. The rechargeable battery charges my phone at a decent rate, making it a reliable option when needed.

Works good. Nice to have for an emergency. Bright flash light, radio sounds good. Can be used to charge cell phone in an emergency.

This makes me feel ready for emergencies, especially since our area has had almost daily thunderstorms this past month. Plus it's small, compact and worked right out of the box! I have bad ears and was afraid the volume would be too low but it was quite clear.

It's fine, nothing wrong with it--exactly what I needed for occasional use while gardening or sitting on the deck. Reception is adequate, sound quality sort of meh...
