Green Lantern by Geoff Johns Omnibus Volume 1 HC

My expectations were fully met.

Really enjoyed reading this. Took me a few months because I was reading other things at the same time. The Sinestro Corps War is the best part of the book, really epic battles all leading up to Blackest Night, which I have waiting for me.

not sure what to make of this book really artwork is amazing but read half of it and i still don't understand whats really going on in the plot and storyline and seems theres a whole massive back story missing and thats how they get you as a newbie to dc universe theres probably about 10 other dc universe omnibuses i'd have to read just to get closure on a storyline and really know whats going on in this which is annoying cause i like dc they do more self contained stories like batman and ex machina but when its a crossover and theres a huge back story that you need to know just to get the plot and storyline its a bit dissappointing and i have no idea who parralex is and to find out that prob going to have to buy loads of books just to know thatEDITtake all of that back it was the first couple of chapters that made me say that but it does give you the backstoryline and whats going on great book

I had this on my wishlist for a few years. I saw it was on sale for £75, which is steep considering its only 1/3 of the entire set. This book is MASSIVE + HEAVY. The amount of pages and the size of the book resembles more of an encyclopedia than a typical comic / graphic novel that you will get for £10-20. The amount of stories you get in this is worth what you're paying.As for the actual contents, if you like Green Lantern then this is the definitive series for it. Geoff Johns' run is legendary, and revitalised the property. The stories are a mixture between following Hal Jordan, and the rest of the GL Corps (Kyle + Guy). Ths is a really good starting point for people who like Green Lantern, or are interested in reading it for the first time.I've already ordered volume 2!

This run is phenomenal! It shows off the vast cosmos of the DC universe while constantly keeping its characters down to Earth and relatable. Easily one of the best comic runs of all time!!!

Get all 3 of them ...... thats what ill say :) Super epic cosmic story worth every money.

Arrived mint condition, well packaged and a very good read so far! Easy to read so good for comic beginners like myself, very happy.
