Great for catching your child up to grade
These books are great to catch up your child on grade appropriate skills. Most of them are designed to read one page and answer questions on the next. They are perfect for kids with learning difficulties because it’s not too much information at once. I’ve ordered them in multiple subjects for multiple grades and always been impressed how much it helped my kids. Definitely recommend!

Good ol school
I like it for homeschooling because it teaches older subjects that people don’t talk about anymore. Lol. Also give me kid a great chance to independently sit, read and answer questions. We go one grade level above students grade level, so student is more challenged.

Lots of Science
My child is in 6th grade. I use this book to help her catch up during Covid, stay at home, Zoom schooling. She only has 2 to 3 hours of schooling online per day and no homework. This book is self-explanatory and lessons are easy to follow. Stories are short and I find it neutral. Example topics: "Moon Veggies", "Out of this World Experience", "Planting a seed for the Future","Dear President Obama", "a picture Worth a Thousand Laughs", etc. Topics are current and relevant. Students learn grade-level vocabulary, main-idea and supporting ideas, inference, lessons learned, etc.

Very nice!
I like these books. The texts are good. But I prefer the question format in the older versions. These questions I find are boring and not very challenging.

Great practice book
If your kids are not getting enough homework from school, I highly recommend this book. I’ve been using this practice book for my younger son and he has been excelling on his a state exam. There are an answer sheet in the back so you can definitely check your kids work. They are not time consuming.

Excellent for Comprehension Issues
Diverse and interesting subject matter with thought provoking tests. So refreshing to NOT have to deal with a politically correct, piece of public school propaganda. This was quite the opposite in it's balance and topics and turned out to be an excellent learning tool for my 7th grader. Most definitely helped improve her comprehension skills. Highly recommend!

Solid workbook
This workbook takes topics sometimes difficult to grasp and nails them down to solid understandings. My favorite section was about wildfires, a natural disaster my section of the country faces every summer. Not only did my students go through the drill of finding main ideas, supporting evidence, et al, they also gained essential and critical information which they might use. The writers have a solid grasp of the essential ideas and breaks them down into easy-to-understand elements. Not boring for me, either.
