Bought a while ago as a gift for my sister, to supervise her daughter when she's not around. I've set it up and I can tell, it gives you the feeling of a very well built and durable camera. Easy and straightforward to install, download the app, connect it and go.As long as you have decent internet, you'll have a stable connection with it, that's not to worry about.My sister found the app very intuitive and easy to use, I just had to show her once, and she is a beginner in tech so I dare say it is an accessible kit for many.It makes my sister's life easier so now she can cook, clean other rooms of the house and still be aware when her daughter wakes up (as that's the main purpose she uses the camera for).She's happy with it so I think this camera is worth a try for anyone in a similar situation.

The first thing to note is that this is a tiny piece of kit. It has to be mains powered and the usb lead supplied is impractically short. I followed the instructions through the downloaded app but with no success. Unusually, the way the internet connection works is the opposite of what I am used to. The IP camera scans your phone and then searches and tries to connect to your phone, instead of your phone scanning the camera's QR Code etc.The v small instruction booklet is tiny and pretty useless, you have to rely on the app.Update, after three of these cameras, I have given up and received refunds. The issue is that I am unable to connect the camera to the app using either of the ways suggested, so it is pretty useless for me. Apparently there is a good camera for thos luck to be able to connect.To find and insert the memory card slot is not easy, but still a lot easier than the reset button which you need to use each time you do not connect to the camera. The reset button is not visible and you need to twist the whole lens mechanism with one hand to expose the pin hole for the reset - not at all easy and a poor design.After many frustrating attempts, I realised that the reset mechanism was faulty/broken.Given the really good reviews, I have applied for a refund and I am going to risk it and try again, so I have ordered another.

would definitely recommend this IP camera. It is very simple to set up, comes with all the necessary peripherals to get it up and a nice little app (which you download via QR code inside the manual). Pairing the camera with the device was simply a case of scanning the QR code which is on the bottom of the device. You are literally up and running in a couple of minutes! The image quality is excellent and stable - what also surprised me was how clear and visible it looks in complete darkness. Very impressed and will look to get another to place in the lounge

We purchased this item from Amazon because of the 100% reviews.Just received the product today, much smaller than we thought which is great.Easy to set up.......once we realised the Cable supplied was faulty....i.e. The slightest movement of the cable would disconnect the power supply, light off so could not set it up fully.After some thought we purchased another USB cable of the same connection design, bingo it worked without any issues, allowed us to complete the set up.Have notified the Manufacturer as yet no reply, new cable cost £6.66 from Sainsbury's ....worth it as it worked perfectly once we replaced the original.All good now work fine.

The camera is great and its easy to us , i just set it and used it in my bedroom , the app doesn have alot of features and lets you to turne on and off motion detector, sound and more ... .You can also change the view of the camera and control it with your phone.The app on your phone is also very easy to use as well

Great device which is easy to set up. Even with BT smarthub 5ghz Wi-Fi.The PTZ control can stall sometimes, and be a little glitchy, but works well otherwise. The intercom is clear and easy to use. Motion detection alerts to your phone are great also. And whilst they aren't always instant. They do come through.It's great that the camera can be ceiling or floor mounted and that the display can be rotated to fit either. Also led lights can be turned off to make the camera less obvious.My only criticism really, is that the actual lens of the device, whichever position it is in gets very warm. I'm unsure if it is supposed to and i am currently testing to see just how hot it gets, without leaving it unattended.Great device though. Maybe I just have a faulty unit or it's normal for the lens to become hot.I'd recommend for watching a pet for an hour or two, but wouldn't leave it on all the time with how hot it gets.
