Size:1-1/2 in. x 50 yds. (38mm wide)  |  Color:Silver-White Oralite V92 Daybright Colors Microprismatic Retroreflective Conspicuity Tape is prismatic conspicuity material available in a variety of colors including red, white, blue, green, orange and gold. Oralite is the Oracal Group's new brand name for Reflexite. The thin, flexible sheeting has a unique appearance featuring a printed triangular white line pattern. V92 Daybright Colors will enhance the visibility of any police, fire or EMS vehicle. It provides superior visibility and conspicuity to oncoming motorists which results in improved safety and image. UV and solvent resistant coatings ensure durability which allows for rugged outdoor use on the sides and rear of tow trucks, trailers, school buses, farm equipment, automobiles and all types of mobile and industrial equipment. Aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive backing designed for rigid metal substrates. Tape is weather resistant and has a 5 year warranty. Maintains reflectivity after impact. Conspicuity-grade material like this is typically 6 or 7 times more reflective than a comparable color in an engineering-grade reflective tape since prism technology is used instead of glass beads so you would be able to see it from much farther distances away. Photos of V92-DB are taken with a flash camera in order to show the reflectivity of the tape; the colors of the tape will be much darker if a high intensity light source (like the flash from a camera or car headlights) are not being directed at the tape. If not otherwise specified widths shown in dropdown are in inches. NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 38mm wide. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on non-branded plain white cores. As with any adhesive tape product it is always the user's responsibility to determine that the

So great I bought it twice one Silver one Red
This Reflexite REF-DB Retroreflective Daybright Tape: 2 in. x 15 ft works great. I have a 2012 Trek 7.2 FX and have to ride at night sometimes and the area that I live in can be dangerous for a cyclist even with bicycle lanes. I have a NiteRider Lumina 650 Wireless / USB Rechargable Headlight and a Portland Design Works Danger Zone Tail Light as my main lights for night with a Bell Dawn Patrol LED Headlight as a backup headlight along with spare batteries. I have the tape in both RED and Silver and could not be happier with this product's reflective capacity.

Go prismatic for high nighttime visibility
I purchased this tape in both silver-white and blue versions, 2 in x 15 ft. This tape is very easy to cut to shape & size with a scissors, peel the backing off, and stick to items you want to be more visible at night. Adhesion is very strong. This material is prismatic retroreflective sheeting, which is superior to the older technology of tiny glass beads (like what you see in Scotchlite material). The older glass-beaded material is good, but this prismatic stuff is newer technology and is much brighter at night. It is made with tiny pyramid-shaped prisms manufactured into the sheeting that reflect light back to the source at night. Great for visibility to car drivers at night. Prismatic sheeting is the kind of material most states and cities are now specifying for brand-new highway signs these days.I am a bicycle commuter and wanted to enhance my low-light visibility for safety. I cut strips of this tape and applied them to my bike and my bicycle helmet. It worked out great. The silver-white is really bright when light shines on it at night. The blue is also quite visible, but not as loud as the white. My bike is primarily blue, so I used both blue and silver on it. Rolls of 2 in x 15 ft go a long way for this kind of project - I got my bike and helmet outlined like I wanted with the two rolls and still had leftover tape in both colors.

Crazily Reflective Excellent Tape
This tape is amazingly reflective. I'm really pleased with it. My community has rings of blue reflective tape around the necks of the fire hydrants. When I started researching tape, I found that one of the hydrants had a few inches of extra tape hanging off one end so I cut it off to compare with what I was finding online. It has a snakeskin type appearance and is reflective in a very narrow angle. So when I found tape that looked like my little sample, I looked elsewhere. I'm glad I did. This Reflexite tape seems to reflect back light that has hit it from a much wider angle. It's also very bright. We put some around the edge of our license plate holder on the back of the car and it's incredibly visible. We're going to put a strip across the very top of the glass of the rear hatch on the car. Even though our hatch and glass is slanted, we tested it by just laying a piece of tape with the backing still on at the top of the window and it still reflects directly behind the car really well. This is a top notch product. I'm expecting it to last too - it seems to be made very well. It's also really flexible and would easily wrap around objects. I'm not sure how well it would flex laterally, but longwise - it would wrap around even very thin objects. The tape I got from the hydrant is really thick and it would not. I highly recommend this product and I paid full price for it and did NOT get it for free! (At some point, I hope to get around to adding some pics to this review.)

Wow!
Wow! highly reflective and very adhesive. I like it!Having said that, though, I do recommend trimming a very small triangular piece from each corner. Somehow leaving the right-angled corner encourages the corner to come unstuck slightly more easily than the trimmed ones, when regularly rubbed by fingers or other materials. Not trying to suggest it doesn't stick well - it does - just sharing my personal experience.

Safe and from Tron
Seriously this stuff looks cool! It has really great reflectivity from a long distance, a must have for any night bike ride! The pictures shown are a picture with flash, and a picture without flash, to show contrast. It's important to realize that this tape only reflects light directly back towards the source(ie a car). If another bicyclist is riding without a light, this tape will not produce light, duh. This tape is not a substitute for a headlight and taillight. If a bicyclist heads at a car going fast from the side of the car, since they are not in range of the car headlight, and have no light source of their own, they are more likely to get hit. However, there are numerous advantages this tape has to offer. I equipped my helmet, and my bicycle shoes: front, back, and sides. When coming over a hill, the first part of the body that shows is the head, then the headlight, then the feet last. True for motorcycles too. Also, when cornering hard on a motorcycle or bicycle, the closest part of your body to the opposing lane is your head, and with a black helmet at night, your headlight may appear in your lane though your head is not. Adding this tape will drastically increase the visibility of your head.Do your research before equipping this tape on a motorcycle helmet though, solvents found in the adhesive may compromise the integrity of the shell. Theres a reason they tell you not to clean it with isopropyl alcohol (a solvent). Dont do it unless you contact the manufacturer first. For bicycles it doesnt really matter because they aren't designed for high speed collisions, and the strength is as much in the foam as the plastic outer shell. Totally worth is for a bicycle helmet in my opinion. There's no reason not to put this tape on your shoes, other than it might look tachy. I have clip in shoes I use only for bicycling, so I dont care that I have tape all over them. Nevertheless, if you ride often at night, and your job doesnt demand tape-free shoes, it would be worth the added safety. The benefit of having it on your shoes is that the motion of your feet attracts attention, and increases the chance a motorist will notice you.Its not quite as bright at a distance as it is from two feet away, but it still is very visible. White would be the most visible color, blue is way cooler. The adhesive works great too! If it ever falls off ill use the half roll I have left to put more on, not a problem. Good quality.Overall Im massively satisfied with this purchase, very little money to put into safety, great result, and gauranteed everyone that sees me at night thinks im a boss, during the day they're like why is his stuff covered in tape lol. The only disappointment about this product is that I do not get to see how wonderful and shiny it is, only everyone else. But then again I can't apreciate my hairdo unless I look in a mirror, things I have to live with ;) Anyways I hope this helps!
