Great little level
Great level, but the plastic tag that it comes attached to from the factory is next to impossible to remove without damaging the aluminum level. Great quality level, but horrendous packaging.

Quality product
A nice quality level from Johnson Tools. Good job! The bubble when you reach level or plumb actually rests against the inside edges of the vertical line., making it easy to find perfect level. Cheap levels have a lot of space between the bubble and the markers leaving the user to essentially find an average level.

I want to be on the level with this review
Bery happy with quality and accuracy; color is a plus as it is easy to find if dropped

great size
I hang TVs sometimes and wanted something bigger than a small standard torpedo level. However, the level needed to be small enough to stay whichin the mounting bracket. Well, let me say It's like a torpedo level on steroids really much thicker and chunkier as well as longer. so far I'm really impressed for the $20 I will update review as I spend more time using it. The only little negative is the yellow spirt has very little contrast to the clear bubble. This makes it a little harder to see. Competitors such as Empire, have a Blue color which seems to lend a sharper contrast.

Good, accurate level but the 45 degree bubble is useless
There is a fundamental problem with buying levels from the internet in that you can't compare all the examples to find a good one. Cheaper levels have tolerance standards that can be a little looser than I prefer. I got a pretty good one when I ordered this level but it's not perfect.I hate the 45 degree bubble. There's a 50% chance that I'll pull the level and then have to turn it around to read it. If you're framing walls this will quickly become annoying. If you're using this level for a week long project and probably never using it again it won't matter. If you're assmebling triangulated steel structure buildings or industrial shelves then the 45 bubble is useful but otherwise you will likely never use it. An adjustable bubble would be much more useful to most people

lightweight, strong magnets, great for leveling your RV
I own two of these levels. They are the perfect size to stow in our travel trailer. the small neodymium magnets are stronger than their size implies. Very handy for sticking on the trailers steel frame. takes a good tug to remove the magnets. I havent yet used the glow in the dark feature, but imagine it would be handy if arriving at a campground after dark.

Great piece of equipment
I was hanging framed art at a client's place of business, using my fancy PLS2 Palm Laser level. It is a critical piece of gear for this type of work, but my partner had a twelve-inch Johnson and I didn't. His Johnson was equally useful for leveling individual frames. In an effort to avoid being short on tools, I immediately ordered this Johnson Magnetic Torpedo Level. I received my new Johnson the next day and I love it! Now I won't be outgunned on my next project.
