These gel packs are better than the bead packs I have because they conform better to my body. I needed a cold one and put it in the freezer and used it on my neck when I had a headache. This fit snugly around my neck so I got good cooling all around my neck. These can also be used hot like a heat pack. The instructions for heating and cooling them is right on the packaging. This kit also comes with a thin non-woven fabric pouch that you can put the gel pack into so that it isn't right on your skin, which when is too cold can cause frostbite type issues. Overall these are better than my other bead packs and can be both hot and cold, which is a definite plus!

These remind me of the ice packs I use to use in high school. It is a two pack so they are roughly 5 each which isn't a bad price considering. The ice packs can be used for both cold and heat. They are the perfect size as well for putting them in the side door of the fridge. Great replacement for ice. Something I can leave in the fridge and forget about without having to worry about it leaking if I tip it over.

I’m a runner and have used ice packs for years. Ten minutes of these wrapped around my ankles, the section on my Achilles was frozen. Like a slushie. It’s hot, red, throbbing. Literally froze my tissue with less than 20 minutes of use. Stay away from this product. I’m not even going to return them because I don’t want someone else to use these dangerous product.

Didn’t hold up to my kids. 3 of the 5 have already leaked within the first week of purchase. I had to throw them away. Giving 2 stars because the size, shape and handle are perfect for little ones.

I bought this product because of a stress fracture in my toe and foot as well as a thumb that dislocated a year ago and still hurts. I love the strong Velcro that I can wrap by wrist and it stays right where I want it. No messy plastic bags, no extra wraps to hold the ice on, it stays on by itself. This product is making it easier to ice my joints which makes me want to do it.

Sitting with it right now & Ahhh...You can put it anywhere you need it. My ankle is very happy!

Just the right size for wrist or ankle ..... or any small spot. And you get 2 in a package :)

I put one in the microwave per the instructions on the box and it was way too much. The gel bubbled up and the plastic covering extended and is now completely mis-shaped.
