works well - both glucose and Colesterol.
I found the instructions simple and the unit is simple to use. the replacement strips are a little pricey but considering the job they do I wouldn't want any old rubbish. TIP make sure you use the very end of the testing strip to dip in the blood drop not the top as first did. I was like a pin cushion until I figured out that simple bit.. but you cant protect against stupid!

Difficult to use
Instructions not very clear. Spent 30 mins trying to work out how to use the pen and lancet and obviously not getting it right as could not get enough blood to use. Used up one of only 2 cholesterol strips provided and still not able to test my cholesterol. Read instructions again and might now be able to get it right but will then need to buy more cholesterol strips. After using up both strips and not getting anywhere, I ordered some more. Still used up 4 more of new pack and still unable to get enough blood from my husband to test his cholesterol.Managed to test my cholesterol and glucose but I am on warfarin so I bleed more easily but the kit was for my husband really as his cholesterol is high

Disappointed customer
Very disappointed asked for a refund because said item would not work as described.you refused refund on the grounds that this is a medical device and you will not expect refunds unless the device is faulty.well as far as I'm concerned it is faulty and I am now taking this matter up with Amazon.

Waste of money!
For testing Cholesterol this is useless. Supplied with strips but every one needed to get ONE result. Cholesterol only needs testing at the most every 3 months, so ordered more strips (10) for approx£21. Used only one month after purchase and could not get a result although my fingers were like a pin cushion. The 10 extra strips purchased had an expiry date far sooner than I would have needed for future test , do they know the strips will fail? Compare to a local chemist charge of €5 per test this home test kit is a very expensive alternative even if it ever works.

Easy to use
I found this kit easy to use and encountered no problem getting readings for both Glucose & Cholesterol. I do not know how accurate the readings are though without comparing them to tests done by the GP/Pharmacy.

So confusing for such a little machine !
This is so confusing to set up .. instructions are not clear at all could not get a reading from the blood sample then the machine just times out & turns off... total waste of money 👎🏼
