This tape works great! My cat no longer has an interest in tearing up the weather stripping and my door.

It really stays on well. However, don't have a fan on when trying to apply the tape because the tape will turn in on itself. Lol.

I recently bought a new house and decided it was time to adopt 2 kittens. New house means new furniture and new furniture does not go well with new kittens. Their claws were so long and snagging on everything and they hadn't quite discovered the scratch post. I put this tape all over the front and sides of the couch. It is really sticky! So sticky that my ankles and legs sometimes got stuck when I stood up. If you have dogs, it will collect their fur so you may have to change the tape out more frequently. The kittens have grown a bit so I was able to take it off the bottom part of the couch where they used to play. It was a little hard to peel and took a lot of lint with it but did not leave any sort of mark, thank goodness. I still have it on the corners but they don't hardly try to scratch it anymore and love their scratch post. I will probably leave it on to train them a little longer but I don't think I will have to tape the couch permanently. There is plenty left on the roll if I ever need to add more. Great quality product that served it's purpose.

Cats are so sensitive, and I don't believe in yelling or spraying with water---those things don't really teach a cat anything; they just make kitty scared of you, and think you're mean and nuts.My cat is sweet and wonderful in every way except one: he likes to sharpen his claws on the ends of my sofa. My new sofa. The moment I received this tape, I put it on the sofa arms and he hasn't scratched there since.I'm hoping this will break his habit and I can eventually remove it, but until then it looks much nicer than aluminum foil!And the best thing is, I'm not doing anything that will traumatize my cat. He just thinks the sofa suddenly got sticky and is no longer nice to scratch!

It actually WORKS! We have 2 cats, (one is over 15lbs...with tiger size paws) that are constantly looking for furniture to claw at. I put this on our new couch and chair...and they clawed once and the sticky protector stuck to the "tiger size" paws and that was the last time he clawed...that spot...he quickly learned the sticky stuff is EVERYWHERE!! :) And no more scratching at the furniture. Seriously, I was hesitant to buy this, but it has saved my new furniture. I highly recommend this product. The other cat...it took 1 time, and barely touching the sticky stuff....she is no longer clawing furniture...she is the bright one. ;)Ps it has been over 2 months. I purchased more to have extra as over time it is less sticky. Oh, fun fact: In a hurry for work and notice you have a bit of lint on your pants...why reach for the small lint roller when you have some on your couch? Lol...i accidently bumped into it and thought wow it doubles as a lint remover!! Shhh dont tell the manufacturer they may increase the price. 😂😂😂😄

Tape does not easily separate from backer and does not stick well to fabric.
