They look as pictured in ad. I love them because they are sharp and are staying sharp in the silverware drawer thanks to the covers. If you're looking for paring knives these are awesome!

All shanks should be this adorable! ^.^

Stops about 1/2 inch short of going all the way in. It's a blade problem, as one blade looks thicker near the tip and doesn't fit in either sheath.Too bad, it's a very cute design. I would pay more for a good version of it.
