What a lovely compendium of Discworld mappage and lore.

This is a beautifully done atlas of the Discworld. And it includes a huge map! with insets describing things like thaumaturgical fields...The presentation is wonderful: a hardcover book in a jacket that includes an elastic to hold it together, and which keeps the separate HUGE map in place so it does not slip out.It's a delight to read, too, whether straight through or at random. All of the separate areas have their own small maps in the text, too, which is fun. (I love maps!)I think all Discworld fans would love this, and I recommend it highly! Beautiful and useful!

While there is not every single minute detail of places mentioned in the various Discworld novels, all the major elements are there, and brilliantly described. A fine adjunct for the serious student of Discworld :) Also, handsomely produced with fine illustrations in full color. In the back cover is tucked a folded map of the entire Discworld that looks to be about the size of a large wall map. I am seriously considering framing it, despite the folds.

For Pratchett fans, this compilation of Discworld lore is a true treat. Hours of enjoyment.

Even if you are not familiar or have yet to read the discworld saga, this book is an excellent introduction to a rich and fantastic world that is sure to please anyone who enjoys world building.

The maps within the book are mostly inadequate. But the book comes with a separate, large map of the Discworld which is excellent. And the text descriptions of every nation are very good and are often humorous.

This is very high quality, I am so pleased. The folded map feels like it's made out of some synthetic material while still being kind of like paper. Seems like it won't tear and will be waterproof. Beautiful! You won't be disappointed.
