The sales pitch on Amazon states: "electric scooter provides high-strength load capacity, the maximum load capacity of 98kg, higher than other similar products." .. the handbook received with the scooter contradicts this and gives max. load as 150 lbs (68 kg). The footboard is unusually long for a scooter and noticeably bows when I stand on it (I'm 93 kgs).There does not appear to be a guarantee either. Therefore I'm reluctant to use the scooter outdoors as I fear it will break under my weight and I'll have wasted £200.I've sought clarification from the supplier, which they've chosen to ignore so far (4 days) .. so it looks like this will be returned.Otherwise - I find the controls a bit fiddly (both accelerator and brake are plastic dials which do not seem very robust. Weight wise - very manageable. Folding function - easy. Assembly - straighforward and easy (came with necessary tools i.e. keys). Not immediately evident where you would hang lights. It's quite basic, very unfussed and I doubt that anyone will be able to give a valid review after a year's use as it just doesn't seem to be that durable.

I have ordered two scooters and this came first. Having first tried it I figured I needed knee and elbow pads and hand protector and helmet, as it felt powerful and the rider vulnerable. However after a very short practice it is easy to ride and feels safe. Unlike a bike or motorbike, it is easy to jump off in case of some expected collision. I will use a helmet and gloves on the road though. It is mechanically strong and nicely made. The wide tyres make it easy to balance and it is plenty powerful enough and yet almost silent. This exceeds my expectation. I'm surprised just how good it is!

Really pleased with this scooter, takes about 3 hrs to charge and lasts for a good while.good value for money I would recommend.

The scooter is great! And the price is unbeatable. Will only take 30 trips to work and back for it to pay for itself.

Waste of money - only got as the one I had broke and these lot delivered quickly! I rely on this form of transport as I'm disabled and there is nothing I like about this scooter. This was a rush decision, you live and learn huh!
