Victorinox, a reliable and affordable brand
I needed a pastry knife and borrowed one from a colleague, it was not a Victorinox, the blade was a bit too thick and not quite long enough for my liking, so I ordered one made by my knife maker of choice, it’s great.A long, thin, sharp blade with a decent heel and a pleasing grip which makes this ideal for breads, pastry, sandwiches, and general kitchen work.

Great for cutting and slicing bread! Round tip of the blade makes this knife safer too. Recommended👍 A slightly shorter version (by a couple of inches) would be welcome, as it does take up some space, but that’s just nitpicking, it’s a very good knife for cutting an unsliced loaf👍

Great knives
I bought the Victorinox 11 cm Swiss Classic Serrated Edge knives a while back and they are great for the price. Thought I’d upgrade to the larger one as I’ve tried and tested them. They may have a plastic handle but they’ve proved themselves to be good knives.

Good product
This is the only knife I use in the kitchen. Yes it's a pastry knife/bread knife. But I use it for cutting veg. Used these for about 20 years. The issue I have with them is that when you sharpen them on numerous occasions. Cause obviously they will need sharpened. The blade eventually wears down to a point where it can't be sharpened any further. Thus rendering them useless. I've been aware of this since having my first one. But as it's basically the only chef knife I feel comfortable with. When the sharpening issue occurs I just buy a new one. Not the best situation. But it works for me. So can't give 5 stars because of this. But otherwise a great knife
