Beautiful set of small balls
I like these small balls very much. I knitted a sweater and needed many different color cotton yarns for intarsia. There was no point to buy big skeins. I found the colorful set of small balls, exactly the colors I need. Threads were thin for me and I doubled them and get a perfect thickness. I was afraid what threads can bleed during washing. My worries were in vain. Nothing happened. I already wash my sweater several times, threads colors are the same as when I bought them.

Good for some but not all thread crafts
I use all sizes of mercerized cotton thread interchangeably between crochet and tatting. But this is the first thread I've had that feels like it's fighting you when it comes to tatting. It isn't as mercerized as DMC, Cebelia, or even Aunt Lydia, my usual go to threads. It has a fluffier look because it isn't wound as tightly, which both makes it feel thicker, and it causes it to be a slight bit fuzzy which makes it grab itself more. I wouldn't consider it a true mercerized thread, as mercerized threads are smoother, and they aren't prone to grabbing onto themselves, splitting or breaking, as one color actually snapped in the middle of knotting.I finally got one small motif after an hour of fighting with it. And I'm not pleased with the look compared to my other threads.I'll likely repurpose it for embroidery and cutwork because it is pretty. And it does seem to work as a crochet or embroidery thread. Although it's rather small for crochet thread unless you're using it for trim, bracelets etc. It's not a bad thread. It's just not really mercerized, so it has limited use.
