Don't order the US size by mistake.
Just my kind of sandal. Nice and wide for my big feet. Closed toe to protect my toes. Very well made so should last well into next year if we get the weather. Attractive colour in 'Turkish Coffee' .Slight criticism - there's not much give in the elastic gusset. This means that the opening to the sandal isn't as wide as the widest part of the sandal. So getting them actually on and off is quite a strain. This might give as the sandals get worn in a bit.

Amazing. Comfy and the size advice was spot on.

The original wasn't broken, so why try to fix it???
I've been buying the original Teva Men's M Omnium Sandal for years. The last time I purchased a pair was on March 13, 2017. I wear them EVERYwhere--the mountains, the beach, on cruises, around town, working in the yard, etc., etc.--and they've lasted for two years. They are still going strong, but there's a little wear on the soles, so I decided to order another pair.I was not surprised when I learned the original was no longer available. I was also not surprised when I received the "II" and found that yet another company had ruined an original product for no good reason. I would love for someone at Teva to explain why they had to change the original design. There was nothing wrong with it. The sizing on the new sandal is off. I wore a 10.5 comfortably with the original shoe, but this 10.5 is too narrow. The new one is really stiff and hard, whereas the original version was soft and flexible. The new sole looks inferior to the original. It also appears they were trying to cut corners on the new shoe, because there isn't as much leather as the original one.I paid $94.95 in 2017 for the original sandal. I'd rather pay $10 more for the same shoe rather than $10 less for an inferior product. I can't understand why Teva couldn't leave well enough alone. It wasn't broken, so why try to fix it???I'm returning for a refund and looking elsewhere for some good water shoes/sandals.

Sizing is tricky, and not nearly as handsome as the original Omnium. My beat up old Omnium above, new below - same color ordered
I loved the original Omnium - the perfect sandal. I still think this is one of the best made sandals, but I'm sensitive to looks, and this new version(in the Turkish coffee) looks ugly to me. Gray instead of black rubber surround, and instead of brown leather, this more-dark-gray-than-brown turkish coffee leather give the shoe more of a gray than brown look. Size is also tricky - 9.5 too small to wear shorty socks, and 10 leaves me sliding around - even with the thickest socks. Bring back the original Omnium!!!

Comfortable Summer Shoes
These are simply the most comfortable casual shoes I've ever owned. I've had them for about 6 weeks and wear them almost every day. First, they are open enough to feel like sandals, but have enough structure to make me feel comfortable wearing them in either rugged outdoor areas or crowded metro areas where you need a bit more protection from clumsy people or the carts they push. Second, I've had plantar fasciitis in the past and need more substantial arch support than average shoes. On nikes or dress shoes I typically remove the low grade insole and replace it with a special insert that gives robust support. For this reason I have almost never found a pair of sandal type shoes that I could wear without a lot of foot fatigue or pain. These Tevas have excellent, higher than average arches which makes it possible for me to wear these all day with no problem, no pain, and NO FATIGUE! I am beyond pleased—I'm delighted! And, while I wouldn't want to run any real distance in them, they are supportive enough that I would not give any thought to running to the end of the block and back to retrieve a fleeing dog. Third, there are a couple of ways to adjust the fit on the heal and over the top of the foot. I was nervous when I put them on right out of the box... It was tight and uncomfortable across the top, and the heal was a little tight. Both have velcro adjustment strips, which I adjusted and ended up with an excellent fit. Lastly, the snap-in clip for the top strap makes them a breeze to get on and off in a hurry.I haven't had them long enough to know if they will hold up over the long haul, but after 45-ish days of use, they show no wear (though I've been in the mud with once or twice and wiped them off), nor do they appear to be weak or poorly constructed. I love these shoes and will buy them again!2019 Update:Heading into my 2nd season with these. Still love them and have looked forward to being back in them throughout winter. They are showing a little more age on the top, but they are not ragged by any means. The leather upper appears to be more "wavy" or slightly curled as you might expect after it had been wet a few times. This doesn't impact the construction or comfort... they just don't look brand new. They have loosened up slightly, so i'm adjusting the velcro straps to compensate. I'm glad spring is here... I've already been back in them several times. Still feel perfect with the slight velcro adjustment. Based on wear over the first season, and now into the second, I'm guessing i can get at least 2 or 3 more years out of them -- probably more, depending on how rough I am on them.

Caution. They will smell bad, really quickly!
Bought these to replace old worn out Crocs. These are not the Teva's I grew up with. My original Teva's were rugged and reliable. The originals never took on any smells, and would rinse off in a stream. These are disgusting. Have worn for a month and I am throwing them away. I looked up online what is up with the stink, and everyone reports you have to scrub them and sanitize them every two weeks. It is NOT advised to wear them daily. What good is that? Aren't shoes designed to be worn all summer? Just purchased replacement Crocs for way less than half the price of these. Final word: Be aware. THEY STINK, SMELL SO BAD I LEAVE THEM OUTSIDE.

Design of shoe changed for the worst
I bought this shoe three times in the past and liked it very much. Teva changed the design on the most recent pair I ordered, however, and now it rubs blisters on my feet no matter what I do. Teva substituted two cheap, tight pieces of elastic under the top strap where it used to have softer, more stretchy fabric. Unlike most shoes, it is difficult to "break in" the elastic. Also, the soft comfortable fabric that used to line the inside of the shoe has been replaced with something less forgiving. These might be okay if you always wore socks, but that defeats the idea of a sandal. Very disappointing.
