Star Wild.
I was given a ARC in exchange for my honest review.I have been waiting a very long time for something new from Ari and she did NOT disappoint. From the very start your attention is caught and it remains there until the very end. We meet Star a girl who has had a s***ty past and has been going through a lot and she wants to change her image. She wants the role of Skye and she will do everything to get it and let no one stand in her way. We meet Jake a bitter and wild director who has his doubts about Star and her newly found sobriety. He doesn't want his movie to be ruined. So to ensure it isn't and Star stays on track she must stay at his house. The two have a connection but each have their reasons to stay away. But the more Jake does, the more Star tries to capture his attention. And when she finally catches it, it may be more than she bargained for.Arianne delivers yet another stellar award worthy book! I am so excited for the next installment and to see where this series goes and how Star and Jake turn out."Keep it safe from me because I'm way too bad for you. My name is Wild. And I live up to my name."

Good Story
I love this writer and have enjoyed her other books, but I just felt cheated that it ended very quickly and I won't go for the next books because of that. The characters are good and I'm sure I would have enjoyed the other books!

Five stars for Arianne's Richmonde's first book in this movie star romance!
I love Arianne's take on the jaded world of Hollywood with Shooting Star. Star Davis is the current "hot mess" of the celebrity gossip world. Fresh out of rehab, she is looking to recapture her waning career with the part of a lifetime. Jake Wild is a British director with a wild past of his own. He is looking for the perfect actress for his lasted movie "Skye's the Limit". There is only one problem, that decision has been made for him and he is not happy about it. Jake and Star come together under circumstances neither want to be in. Will they overcome their chaotic pasts and deny the undercurrent of lust that threats to boil over? One of my favorite qualities of Arianne's writing is her characters. They are not squeaky clean people. They're complicated, opinionated, and come with a lot of baggage. It makes for a very engrossing plot and high drama between the characters. Star Davis is not what she seems. At only 19, she's a veteran of the Hollywood child star circuit and has seen and done it all. Star is not afraid to say or do anything it takes to get what she wants. Jake is a product of Hollywood royalty. His family has been making movies for decades and Jake follows in their footsteps. He's also been indulging in the privileged lifestyle a bit too much. Even as Jake and Star clash, they have a lot in common. Arianne creates juicy angst and hot chemistry between them both.I'm a huge fan of movie star romances and Arianne does a fantastic job of crafting a story that could be straight out of OK Magazine. Many of her celebrity references are very accurate (I'm a Hollywood gossip junkie and I know my celebs) and the plot is salacious! The ending does have a bit of a cliffhanger, but nothing too jarring. It's enough to make you crave for the next installment of the series. I give Shooting Star five out of five stars!Written by Dee McGee - Booze, Bookz, and Bad Boyz

Is this a romance?
The story is not very cohesive. Additionally, Jake, the male lead, isn't kind and is irritating to listen to rant. Star's sobriety is over explained.

Starlight, Star Bright... (came to mind.)
I was absorbed in the story, completely forgot it was a short read and suddenly it ended. What the heck? Oh yeah, this is book one in a trio. Feeling giddy that the story continues, happy that the book is already downloaded to my Kindle app and low at the same time. Knowing that book two will end on a cliffhanger, just as this first book does. It's a pet peeve, yet I continue to choose multiple story books because I love the author's that write them.Romance is in the air with these characters, but their youthful minds don't have the development needed plus life experience to act on it properly. Plenty of misdirection, love it or leave it attitude and desire to be the one in control. Yes, it's a great storyline and I'm excited to read more.If you like to read romance or young adult stories, them I highly recommend this book to you.

I liked it.
Star and Jake take us on a wild ride when we meet them in this first installment. Jake is her director and she is fresh out of rehab. Star plays games with guys and Jake uses women. It was well done and a very short read. Will definitely read the next installment to see where this goes.

3.5 stars Good start to Hollywood NA romance
3.5 stars. The storyline of a sex addict Brit director (26 y/o) and fresh-out-of-rehab 19 y/o actress must work and live together during the making of a new film was solid. Jake and Star have good banter, and the acting scene they work on together was interesting. They both have baggage to work on, and Star's brother and father just might cause trouble.Star is relatable and has insecurities and speaks her mind, when needed. I'm not as fond of Jake, and I didn't relate to them as a couple; thus, my rating.I'm curious where Arianne will take this story next as I have enjoyed other stories by her. I'm expecting that books 2 & 3 will be better.
