Take a hike with these poles.....
The TREKOLOGY Trek-Z hiking poles have completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I took them out of the package, I could tell they were built with real attention to detail. I love the collapsible, tri-fold design—it makes packing a breeze, whether I’m heading out on a backpacking trip or just throwing them in my carry-on for a hiking getaway. What really impressed me is how lightweight yet strong they are. I’ve used them on steep, rocky trails, and they’ve given me incredible support and stability. The height adjustment is smooth and secure, which makes it easy to adapt to different terrain—or let someone else use them. When adjusting the height, they lock in place. The ergonomic cork handles are a standout feature for me. They mold perfectly to my hands and do a great job wicking away sweat, which keeps things comfortable on long hikes. The padded wrist straps reduce strain and keep the poles in place without rubbing.I also really appreciate the variety of tips that come with the poles. Whether I’m dealing with mud, snow, or rocky ground, I’ve got the right attachment to stay confident and steady. It makes these poles super versatile no matter the season or trail conditions.I couldn’t be happier with the Trek-Z poles. They offer a great balance of quality, comfort, and value. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced hiker, I’d definitely recommend them for your next adventure.

These poles have held up well and the compact size is totally worth it
I've owned these now for over a year and after at least 25+ hiking treks I am so glad I bought them! Here's why: They strike a great balance between weight, stiffness, and portability. Are they the lightest poles out there? Heck, no. A carbon fiber pole will weigh less. But they are light enough that I don't feel any fatigue from carrying them. Are they the stiffest poles out there? Heck, no. A non-collapsible pole, or even a telescoping pole, will have less "give." But they have been more than stiff enough for my needs (and I've done a lot of rocky climbing with them, including down the North Rim and back). Are they the most collapsible poles out there? Definitely! And this matters a lot to me. I have a set of telescoping carbon fiber poles that are very nice to use, but even fully collapsed, I can't stuff them in a backback. I can't pack them in a carry-on bag. So I'm limited in terms of where I can take those poles. These Trek-Z poles solve that problem. So I might use my other poles when I'm driving to a trail head near my house. But for all other occasions, the Trek-Z poles are the winner.

Great poles at a great price.
These poles appear to be very solid. I was initially hesitant because of the reports of them being heavy. Not a problem. Maybe for elite long distance or speed trekkers, but for casual & sub 5 mile hikes, they are great. I have high end shock absorbing poles, but they don't break down for travel. These do, to a very manageable length. Which brings me to the only gripe I have about this product. The storage bag. When the poles are collapsed completely, they fit in the bag. If they are adjusted to your desired length, they stick out of the bag! Wake up Trekology! I am really pleased with these poles & am amazed that they are so inexpensive.

Light & affordable
These are terrific if you don't need anything fancy and are traveling. I wanted something to easily fit in a small suitcase & that I wouldn't be out a ton of money if the airline lost my bag. (They did for 2 days). As with all new gear; practice setting up/taking down & test out well before your trip to do something else if they don't work out. They aren't as substantial as the C**tco ones nor my L*ki poles, but held up on steep trails in Hawaii when I needed some balance and support. If you can set up a pop up sun canopy, they are easy to put together ( they have a metal push button). That said, they are light, 3 pieces, and rely on that locking button, so if doing difficult trails, you may need more substantial, pricier ones.

Perfect recommendation
Really nice sturdy light weight walking poles. Easily adjust to height needed. Open and close quickly. Came with bag but don’t use the bag. Different feet for different surfaces. Handles are comfortable. People call these hiking poles but using by recommended by Dr and PT. Graduated from walker and cane is one sided. Walking poles help with balance and posture. Can walk in uneven terrain like grass.

Simply the best!
Easy and secure. These packable hiking poles are simple to use and at ages 68 and 71 we appreciate being able to easily take these on our adventures in a small carryon-size suitcase or backpack. They are simple to unfold and lock in place, then re-fold when the hike is done. We are both 5’10.” Highly recommend.

Perfect
Although my first experience assembling these had the kids covering their ears, once it "clicked" (literally) I am left much impressed with the quality and comfort, especially the bamboo hand grips - far superior to the rubber grips on my last set of poles. Off to put them through their paces in the Scottish Highlands.

Good poles, HORRIFIC documentation
Poles are of good quality, very sturdy, light weight, break down well. Worth the money for sure. The documentation is beyond horrific, a complete joke. Watch a youtube video on how to assemble...
