This book is exactly as described, great value for money, sturdy also. With its lovely packaging it’s superb as a gift to others ( no need for wrapping paper). Lovely to write on! Over 700 hundred pages! So lots to write about. It’s also versatile, can be used as journal or diary as it has the days and numbers on it.

Absolutely perfect size. Loads of pages but not cumbersome. I had lots of notes in different notebooks. Now I only need one. The book isn't flimsy and decent paper quality. I'd highly recommend it.

This is a really well made, lovely quality notebook.The paper feels nice, their is plenty of room to write without squashing up the words.The colour variety is impressive.However, there is a grammatical error in the embossed wording on the front cover.

Cool stuff - getting me journal well

Bought this as I wanted a chunky notebook to write down lists and appointments. I opted for a5 size, as I tend to prefer a bit more space when I write, and did not plan to take the notebook out and about.Firstly I would not gift this. It said it came boxed with a pen. The box was not a gift box, it was a cheap box that had been bashed about and torn. Fortunately the notebook was not creased. A rollerball type pen is included for free, however it is rather cheap and cheerful and was very scratchy to use.The notebook itself has a pleather type cover with a quote on. Not keen on the quote as it makes no sense (maybe a bad translation?) however fortunately it’s not super visible as both the quote and cover are black.As its pleather, and relatively thin, it means there is no extra weight added to the book. For over 600 pages, it is reasonably lightweight for what it is, however I’d not describe it as portable at all.On opening, the notebook has many pages with spaces for dates and the weather, which is quite useful. I was impressed with the paper. Creamy and my biro pens worked great on it with minimal showthrough. Cannot speak for fountain pens or wetter ink however the rollerball that came with the notebook did show through a bit, but not noticeably enough to be annoying.At over six hundred pages, this notebook is THICK. However there is a flaw in this that some other people have mentioned, in that the book as a whole starts to tear away from the spine. The outermost pages that attach to the cover begin to tear away when the book is opened and in use- in fact, mine arrived with them starting to tear away already. This is a bit rubbish however I am inclined to think that a lot of notebooks with many pages may suffer from this issue. I am guessing that the sheer volume of pages mean the lightweight cover struggles to hang onto them.Would I recommend this? Maybe. There is no denying it’s good value for the amount of paper, and if treated gently it should last you many writing sessions. However, I would not buy it again myself as it’s just not got the quality I like in a notebook. Avoid giving as a gift unless you plan to re wrap it first!3 stars.

The journal looks great and the quality was exactly as described by the seller! A really good journal for the price! In fact is so much better than expected! I especially like the quote on the front! I describe it as my believe book as I'm going to be using it to record what has gone well and is positive in my daily life so I can look back at my achievements and believe in myself!
