Brick-Anew All-in-One Brick Fireplace Paint Kit – Easy DIY Makeover for a Natural, Realistic Brick Look (Twilight Taupe) Not Your Boring White Paint or Chalk Paint!

If you are hesitant, don’t be. This is the product for you! A little back story, I had a contractor who painted the fireplace black per my request but against my better judgement and awareness. Once it was painted, I was so sad! I would’ve rather it stayed it’s original brick color. After a lot of research Brick-ANew was the top rated product on Amazon for cosmetic restoration. However, no examples showed a remodel from a dark shade such as black to one of the Brick-ANew color options. So although hesitant, I decided to give it a shot because anything would be better than the original paint job. The instructions were well written. However, as a perfectionist, I did use the video link provided on “How To” apply the product as well. There was a lot of trusting the process, hoping and praying with each layer. By the end of the project, I was in love! I started the project by dusting and vacuuming the surface area per the instructions. I applied the first base coat color in 4 layers based on the supply provided. After the first and second base, I was satisfied with the coverage but decided to just utilize all the paint available and there was still a little left over. The project began for me after work Friday evening. I finished applying each layer over the course of the following day on Saturday. I finished by cleaning between the mortar lines with the base color and painting the sponge (provided) with a small (personal) paint brush (used to fill the base color between the mortar lines) and slightly dabbed the base color once again to give it a softer look. This was a one woman job and I couldn’t be more proud of myself. 😀 Thank you to the makers of this product! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to remodel their old brick fireplace.

It was an easy process that took several hours (7!) but well worth it. The transformation of our bricks was incredible. When we started, the fireplace had been painted a bland gray color. But after brick a new, it’s gorgeous.

I was desperate to get rid of the red brick and wanted a modern option that didn’t include ripping out the brick altogether. I felt like this could go so wrong especially since I do not have a creative bone in my body and can mess up paint by number. So, if I can do this, you can too! I am SO proud of my fireplace! Also, the customer service is the best I’ve ever experienced. They truly stand by their product and will help you every step of the way! Just do it! You won’t be sorry!

I really wanted to replace our outdated veneer stone fireplace. I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars for updated stone. I found this "Brick a New" on the Internet and watched some YouTube videos about it. The company has three different color schemes to choose from, and when you receive your box, it has all of the supplies that you will need, including instructions, paint, brushes, and a video and how the whole process works. I do not have a creative bone in my body, if I can do this, anyone can! The fireplace only took a few hours. For a couple of hundred dollars you can transform your entire home. The fireplace turned out so well that I even decided to do the outdated stone by my front door!

The Brick-Anew kit is so worth purchasing! I have a large brick fireplace and wanted my brick to look natural but light. I have light grey walls in my home. I ordered Misty Harbor and the brick turned out looking exactly how I envisioned it. The kit was helpful with instructions and a video that demonstrated how to roll and use the sponge. The kit also gave Wendy's phone number so I was able to communicate with her with any questions I had. I am so glad I purchased this kit. The results do speak for itself!

Great product easy instructions. I was a little nervous about doing this because I wasn't sure I knew what I was doing . The instructions were easy I made sure to watch the video on my phone very helpful. Watch it twice took my time to make sure everything was dry in-between steps. And called the phone number when I had questions and The Brickanew lady has very helpful and had good suggestions! I'm very happy how it turned out! My husband loves it to ! Well worth the money. Not just a plain paint job!

I purchased the kit directly from the company. First, what I liked about the product is that it is a no brainer. Mostly everything you need is included in the kit. The color matching is great. The ease of use is great. The overall outcome is very good. What I do not like about the product is the very inexpensive tools provided to paint the fireplace. There should be at least two paint brushed or one of higher quality. In turn, the painter's tape provided should be a wider width, especially if you have carpeting that surrounds the floor area of the fireplace. Very difficult to secure a drop cloth or protective covering with a less than one-inch tape. One inch tape is useless when you are painting Biggest con - the price. Another issue is the number of paint trays. The paint comes in plastic bottles, so impossible t dip a brush or roller into it. Therefore, they need to provide more than one tray for various color applications. The price of the kit is really way too pricey. I found a blog, after the fact, that gave details instructions on how to achieve the same effect for the fraction of the price.Nonetheless, I completed the project, and I am happy with the results.
